The highest you can get is component video cable. Although it will still only be 480i at the most unless you have a game that supports highres like Gran Turismo 4. If you do havea component video cable and a HD TV then check out Xploder. This will give you 720p or 1080i with any game. Unsure how well it works. I'm sure there's some review about it some where.

I just bought the Logitech G5 Gaming mouse. I have only used Microsoft mice before but I like the feel of this one. It's 2000 DPI and has a plate card you can slide in and add or subtract little weights to get the feel you like. It was an impulse buy for me so I bought it at best buy for $79.99 but you can get it a lot cheaper off the web. I still might buy one on the web and return this one. Great mouse though.

There $399.99 on Dells Website. Don't get in confused with the E207WFP which doesn't have the S-Video and Composite inputs. Also PIP.

Not bad... Although here is the deal of a life time..

I just got this Dell 2007WFP 20" for $127  It was used but defiantly worth every penny considering there 400 new. I ended up hooking the rest of my gaming to it.

You mean Halo 2, not Halo 3. and yes. it requires Vista. Windows publishes the game, and they want to promote vista as much as they can.Liquid_Snake92
uh? I thought it was 3? I guess the box made it look different. Anyways thats even worse if it's still only 2. I wouldn't pay 50 bucks for a game that's only 40 for xbox. That's more b.s.

So I stopped at game stop today. I saw that they had some copies of Halo 3 for the PC. Ive actually never played halo before, non of them. I thought Id give it a try. So I looked at the box for system specs. I have a 7800 GS and 2 GB Ram, not bad but not the best. Well It didn't require a DX10 cardbut for some reason it required Windows Vista, WTF? I instantly had a bad day from there on. I have XP, it works, it runs, It gets the job done. I guess my $50 is going to go to a bottle of Jack. Then when I'm feeling good I'm going to pop in BF2 and get my arse kicked.

I downloaded the bioshock demo thinking I was going to have a lot of trouble playing the game. It actually ran not to bad.

PC Specs - 3.4GHz P4 HT "Socket 478" - 2GB Ram - 7800GS OC @ 470MHz Core, 1321MHz Memory "AGP!" Ultra 500watt PS

Benchmarks - Fraps

Game Settings:

Resolution - 1280x1024
Windowed Mode Off
Vertical Sync - On
Shadow Maps - On
High Detail Post Processing - On
High Detailed Shaders - On
Real Time Reflection - On
Distortion - On
Force Global Lighting - Off
Direct X10 Surfaces - Not Supported

Frames: 32570 - Time: 30.85 minutes - Avg: 17.592 - Min: 0 - Max: 73

Some might say 17 FPS? I'm sure this will go to about 23 or more if I drop down to 1024x768 and turn off some of the options. After installing the game I just turned up the Res to 1280x1024. I left the rest to the default. Game looks awesome. If you can play Oblivion on medium to high setting then you wont have a problem playing this one.

Well I hope this info is some insight for some of you with an older system like mine.

I have been waiting for a while and have yet to buy either a X360 or PS3. I'm loyal to games not really the name on the system. I'm glade X360 is coming out with another version of their system. Although It just looks bad transforming a system to make their customers happy when they should have taken the time to do it right in the first place. I know it's all about cost but I'm one to want to wait and getter a better product then be some beta tester.
