I have one and use it for Test Drive Unlimited. Works pretty good. I wouldn't use it for BF2. I guess I just got use to using the mouse for everything.

Technology grows not matter how you put it. If I were a gaming company and I had some new hardware that gave me the capability of making a game I envisioned, then I'm going to make it. It would be worth it for the consumer to buy what they need to play it. Then they would have the hardware to play the next one that comes down the line, normally with-in a year or two. At some point there will always be a major leap and it will cost the consumer. That's were the hard core gamers come in. They'll buy it. Eventually the cost will come down for the rest if us.

I actually run the Geforce 7800 GS OC myself.. at 1280 x 1024 most games run pretty good. I tried the demo of company of heroes and got it to run good on 1024 x 768. But the other card you guys are talking about are faster than mine so I'm sure 1280 will be fine with a little tuning.

Actually the 7800GS is only 16 pipelines for agp and 20 for PCIE. They do have the 7950GT in AGP and it has 24 pipelines. View

i.c, so gamespot just gives any advertiser access to there servers to post any advertisement they want? Makes a lot of sense. I'm sure some other people will recognize the stereotype and some like myself will actually be offended by it.

Id actually go with the Geforce 7950GT for a AGP. Those two ATI cards only have 12 pixel piplines vs 24 in the 7950. It will also be about $20-30 cheaper. Give it a thought.

This issue is the same with IGN. There even worse acutally. Although the future is "free" Have you heard of "HOTorNOT"? they use to be a paid service, now its free. myspace, free. Ads do bring in revenue but they also can't be pushed in your face like some sites. Ive noticed a few in your face ads on gamespot and other websites. They will learn to get better as they find people going to other free sites for there gaming info.

Ive held back from saying anything about the system because I didn't try it yet. Well today I went to bestbuy to pickup a movie or two and strolled into the PC department. Most of the PCs were running Vista. I went to first computer and the mouse didn't work.. "not surprised" then to the second, it worked. Played around with if for a little bit and noticed everything was slow to react. I looked at the spec sheet. 2.4 Core 2, 2GB Ram and so on. 2GB? It sure didn't act like it. So I brought up the task list, just the regular system stuff running. Vista in general as is suppose to be is "wow, cool, I must have it because its such a better upgrade" to bad its not. I went to a few other computer to see if it was just that one, nope same thing. So I have no interest in Vista.

I saw this ad on this site. Is it just me or does this ad play really badly off of a asian stereotype?
