lol Sonic Team Racing on the tv in the back. Anyway DOOM:E is probably currently my most anticipated game by far. Even after getting the platinum for DOOM 2016 I was still wanting more but sp DLCs never came. Always love me a good,polished and fun single player shooter.
Meh. Still cant digest my purchase of MK X biggest waste of money on a video game in the past decade imo. Lackluster campaign that you could finish in a day, multiplayer is the same old trash that gets redundant after 2-3 online fights. Also these clowns are masters at rehashing the same crap for over 2 decades now, all they can come up with are more lame fatalities that do nothing but make you roll eyes, yawn and wonder why youre playing this crap in the first place.
@pmanden: For many reasons first is going in totally blind, not knowing enemy behaviors, spawn points, which windows to barricade,which ones to avoid, which corridors to clear the enemies/which ones you dont (since you wont come back through that area really often) mostly like the previous old school RE games where being lost was what made the game great. The enemies are much less aggressive on normal, you dont have to use Ink ribbons to save your progress since on hardcore ink ribbons are scarce and replace some ammo locations that you would have ammo or grenades on normal or lower difficulties. The game is in no way frustrating the gameplay is well balanced and hardcore just makes the experience authentic and what it should be. Trust me, like most games, normal is far too easy. If you want your money worth with this game,going in blind on hardcore is the best option. You might die a couple times in the beginning but since you played the demo you should be fine with the games mechanics etc. Also dont forget to examine the key items you pick up like in the older games.
Also, if you can afford the OG soundtrack (not sure how much its sold separately since I went with the deluxe edition for that soundtrack) it just makes the experience so much more memorable and immersive imo. The remake soundtrack is nowhere as good as the original. Also both scenarios are great, you visit different areas, encounter different characters and the cutscenes are miles above what we used to see in previous RE games.
Theres also so many little details they added to the game that makes everything just so much more realistic like zombies falling down on you if you blow up their heads while they were closing in on you, Mr.X punching through zombies that are in his way to get to you and other stuff I wont mention to avoid spoilers. The game is just great.
