I got a wii u and set it up the other night to get the update out of the way for Xmas day. Had a go of Nintendo Land and it ws ok, but I know the novelty will ware off. Games like Mario at their core are really good so whilst the gamepad features are a nice touch, ultimately I will keep playing the game because at its core, its a very good game. End point is that alot of the Wii U is gimmicks, but I will be getting games for it that at their core give a a good gaming experience (Mass Effect 3, BLOPS 2 etc) and avoiding gimmicks like Zombi U.
@xgalacticax look seroiuosly guys, looking down at the gamepad is similar to taking your eyes of the action to look at the minimap at the bottom left of the screen. You will get used to it and it will become second nature. Dont let it put you off.
Nintendo hardware has in recent times and will always now be in a different market to Sony & Microsoft. They have expanded the audience to casual gamers and so now are targeting that who want a more "sophisticated" experience. Therefore these shortcomings will IMO not affect them in terms of interest, sales and future sucess.
Im a re fan but i never bought re6 because of the reports i read on the way they used QTE. I hate QTE anyway but unlike RE4, it seems they never used them approriately.
Can anyone tell me when you loot in this game whether, like in previous iterations, it takes ages to pick items up? I hated that in AC 2, brotherhood and revelations.
