For those that think it should have got a higher score, Gears 3 got a 9.5 and that was due to ultimate refinment in mechanics and great campaign similar to this so I would champion such an argument on this basis.

However I dont actually believe Gears 3 deserved a 9.5 so a 9 is about right.

How is it vastly superior? Though I think it will be great I do suspect it will be mroe of the same with very little innovation..

Funny, I was playing Burnout Paradise yesterday and the graphics are so silky and smooth. Playing that will fulfill my 'need for speed' instead of paying £40 for this recent iteration of a tired series.
