bios is like f10, or whatever your computer assigned the button to be during boot up

at bootup, you press f10, f8 or something

then under graphics output, put intergrated

first of all, get about another 256 mb of ram for that machine

pci cards totally suck, im sure you know, but the 6200 overclocked is the best pci card out

but pci is super slow, in no way is it a great gaming system

with that he can run the game I believe

I have went into the bios of my new hp desktop, and I have changed the graphics output to the pci express

Yesterday I installed an nvidia 7600 gs 256. I quess the pci express card before mine is dumb or something, but it must have been sucking out memory from the computer.  Here is my real real problem

NVIDIA System Information report created on: 03/19/2007 14:22:17
System name: HP

[Display]
Processor:  Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU          4300  @ 1.80GHz (1800 MHz)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista
DirectX version: 10.0
GPU processor:  GeForce 7600 GS
ForceWare version: 100.65
Total available graphics memory: 751 MB
Dedicated video memory: 256 MB
System video memory: 0 MB
Shared system memory: 495 MB
Video BIOS version: 5.73.22.50.56
IRQ:   5
Bus:   PCI Express x16

Why is 495 mb of system memory being shared for the total graphics memory?

Please someone tell me how to turn this off please please please

[QUOTE="gearsfan23"]

I have uninstalled all programs that were dumb, like norton,

dbowman

That was a really bad idea. Without any Virus protection your PC will get infected really easily.

If it gets infected, then system recovery, happened before with my laptop, and it only happened cause I downloaded the wrong file from a site that wasnt meant for files.

So I will get in my bios and disable the intergrated, I think I may have done that already last night, its a hassle to get into the bios with a wireless keyboard that doesnt turn on with the first turn on of the cpu.

The truth to your decision

GET THE CHEAPER ONE, and then buy an nvidia 7600gt, or gs or anything like that. Dont think Vista is cool, ultimate is prob. worse than this Home Premium, all of vista is a waste
