@hoard_moard: unless gimmick motion control its what makes those controllers $70 to $80. It also makes the switch to be $300.

well there it is. The $300 unit price is because of those expensive joy-con controllers. Its the motion control that makes them expansive. More gimmicks, the more you can charge. There was not need for motion control with the switch.

If nintendo did not go with the gimmick motion control again. The switch could be about $250.
