PSN+ is basically a rental service, so I'll go with XBL.

the ps3 will not be remembered as a failure, but as the reason blu ray won the format war with hddvd. sony knowingly handicapped their gaming division so that they could win the bluray-hddvd format war.
as for the copying bs you are claiming, every company copies each other in business. get over it.
and your no games argument may have been relevant in 2007, but this is 2010 and there are a ton of great games on ps3, both multiplat and exclusive. the ps3 has been pumping out quality exclusives ever since mgs4 dropped in june of 08. the 360 and wii? not so much
