I think the game will eventually have mc's of some sort, likely cosmetic, though probably not for awhile.

I think they want to avoid giving valve a 30% cut for as long as possible. If anything Epic is gonna make their offer bigger as full release draws near.

@Berserk8989: CDPR offed him royalties and Sapkowski just wanted the lump-sum that's on him. I bet he was feeling all right about the decision after Witcher1 bombed. CDPR are being more than generous with what ever they choose to give him.
