the PC has 17 games released in 2007 that are above 80% and the 360 has 19. Some of the games appearing on both consoles were superior on 360 for example Madden NFL 08 which received an 8.5 for 360 and a 6.0 for PC. GRAW 2 was also far superior on 360. the 360 has 8 games above 80% on gamerankings that are not available on pc while the PC only has 5 and 3 of the 5 are RTS. If your not into just playing RTS then there is litarally no reason to get a PC.

So let me ask my question again WHY SHOULD I BUY A PC WHEN I HAVE A 360!! I can see the obvious reasons to buy a 360 if you have a PC but it doesn't go the other way around.

Way to spin the facts. So far this generation this PC has 9 AAA titles and 62 AA titles. Thats FOUR TIMES atleast the ammount of AA titles the 360 has. The PC also has a wide myriad of games ranging from RPG, FPS, RTS, TBS, SIM, party, puzzle, action adventure, etc.

Im talking 2007 if you count this gen as being since the 360 launched then that just isnt fair. When a new console launches all support doesn't just jump directly to the new console, on the other hand the PC has no direct starts or end to a generation therefore the support is always consistant. If you are going to do it that way then we should count all the games for the origial xbox that were released since the launch of the 360.

LOL uhh no.. Sorry your spinning the facts to make your side appear the better.. The most logical thing to do is compare every game at release of the Xbox360 for both the PC and Xbox360.. And Yet we say again the PC gets the most highly rated exclusives out there.. Also need I remind you how rediculous it is to claim it had no "support" att he beginning.. All these games have been in devolpment before the xbox360 was released..

So how do we judge when this gen starts for PC, heres a better question for you How many gaming PC's have been sold soo far this gen. My point is you can't compare PC directly to consoles as you would consoles to consoles. By what your saying you can just say PC has the most games because it has been supported since 1985, your logic is flawed.

If you have a gaming PC is there any reason to own a 360?

Ive questioned myself that a few times.

skrat_01

Well if you have a gaming pc there is usually a reason to own a console, sports games are better on consoles and local co-op play with friends is better on consoles. I can understand not needing a 360 if you have a gaming rig but you will probably say that you have a PS3 for all the good console games, which proves my point that you need to have 2 systems to compete with the 360.

I think having people with headsets is the most important part of competetive online gaming. When i play rb6 vegas or gears of war i always talk with my team and strategize i don't know if you hermits heard or not but having to type in the middle of a game kinda takes away from controls and the action.

Are there any hermits that own a computer that don't plan on buying any console? My point is that i have a 360 and i don't plan on buying any other console or PC because i don't see any reason to. I agree that PC can run games better if you have a good setup yet i think games like bioshock look fine on my 360. The developers of crysis said they are looking into porting crysis to consoles.

Any hermits in here only own a pc and dont plan on every having any of the consoles this gen?

I completely disagree with the PC having superior online. I have played pc online and atleast half of the people don't have headsets. On 360 almost everyone has headsets because it comes with the system.

Likei said give me one good reason to have a ps3 or a pc if i have a 360? there are already too many good games for 360 than i can play and ps3 only has 4 games above 80% on gamerankings that the 360 doesn't have while the 360 has 22. Hmm wonder which ones better. Why should i spend 700 dollars on a PC or 500 on a ps3 when i can just use that money to buy games?
