Can we agree that both consoles have a great lineup this year. Im a lemming and i don't plan on buying a ps3.

Here are some great games for 360 this year.

Lost odyssey (currently AA on metacritic)

Dead Island (this game may possibly be good, If cows can hype flopzone 2 then why not hype this?)

left 4 Dead ( a very original co-op oriented game)

Gears of War 2 ( sequal to gears of war which is rated as 94 on metacritic)

Halo Wars (hmm, most likely a AA noob friendly strategy game)

Banjo 3 (pure awesomeness)

Splinter Cell Conviction (from the makers of chaos theory)

Too Human (could be good, could be bad

Ninja Gaiden 2 (AAA for sure_

Alan Wake ( in the last developer interview it was slated for 2008)

apb (everyone who's seen this game has given it a good preview)

fable 2 ( definately gonna be good)

infinate undiscovery (trash)

I really haven't been a hardcore gamer till this gen. these are all the games i own that i really enjoyed.

Halo 3 (am i the only one who actually likes this game? I mean it is at a 94 avg on metacritic)

Bioshock (second favorite to Mass Effect)

Gears of War ( I still get on gears and play some online co-op, its justs that good)

Mass Effect ( havent finished it b/c i lost my disk but my favorite game soo far)

Forza 2 (god i love this game)

Lost odyssey (this is my first jrpg ever and so far im really enjoying it)

Dead Rising (Got this for dirt cheap in november and its one of the most original games ive played)

Command and conquer 3 (id still be playing this online if there was still an online community)

Geometry Wars (best arcade game ever!!! 4 million high score)

Dead rising is good and you could get it pretty cheap.

Mass Effect is a definate must own

Lost odyssey is great if your a fan of the genre (if you havent played a jrpg before you should really give it a shot)

Forza 2 or PGR4 if you wanna get a racer (forza 2 is my favorite 360 game)

Maybe GRAW2 or COD4 if you like shooters

why was my topic and poll about whether to use gamerankings or gamespot scores locked? It has broken to rules or regulations according to your own thread.

Since we are on a forum owned by cnet we need to decide which source to use to classify a game as A AA or AAA. there was a poll before and the majority voted against using gamespot as the official score in system wars. the 2 highest were gamerankings and gamespot so between these 2 which should we use?

I dont think we should have to solely use gamespot's reviews. Yes we're on their forums, but that doesnt mean I agree with what they say. We're already using their website, so I doubt they really care if we agree with their opinions. If we're on here to have intelligent debates on which games and systems are better in our eyes, then we should look at the majority of opinions and not just one. Gamespot provides the arena (which is awesome of them, mega props!) now its up to us to find our weapon's of choice.dimebag667

i completely agree. We are the community so we decide what is the fairest way to officially evaluate games.
