@groowagon: Yes it works alright on both games that you mentioned, but i dunno in RE7, haven't played it yet. But some games like The Evil Within needs to be in the straight track in order to keep the horror continues
If only Capcom release this one using a brand new IP, it will get a better and higher score from reviewers out there. The RE brand will at least create a higher hope and expectation for the fans, and we all know what happen to the games with high expectation... (spoiler : it's not what you expect)
@angrycreep: Well maybe their target market isn't people that are looking for their first console. But for X1 & PS4 owners that will buy the Switch as a supplementary console. Why would Nintendo create another console that already filled by X1 and PS4? Do you think anyone will buy a Nintendo Console that identical to PS4 or X1 in terms of specs and games (plus few first party from Nintendo)?
I already have a PC and PS4, i don't buy X1 because the games are identical to PC and the PC version are mostly superior. The PS4 have a lot of exclusive games that will not released to PC so i bought one. The Switch will be my next one since it offers a different gameplay, game library and also portable. I'm sold
@perfect_chao: And guess which one fail between vita and 3ds? Yep. It's not about the hardware.
Ever heard people ranting about Pokemon's graphic on 3DS? or Pixelated Monster Hunter? maybe yes but people don't actually care as long they have fun with the game
i get what Nintendo is currently trying to be. They don't want to enter the Market that already filled with Xbox and PS4. If they try to make another horsepower machine with the same lineup (plus 1st party exclusive of course), they will lose to PS/Xbox because i honestly don't want to add another console with the same library.
I will buy this one for the portability alone and let's just hope SNES, NES, GC, 64 libraries will also be added to the switch.
P.S. If Nintendo add Pokemon Series to the switch, this thing will sells like hot cake
