i played melee a few times but since it has no online i never got into it..

brawl is very very fun and the online means theres always fresh players to play with.

ssb64 is the best to me.. you can own people sick in this game...in brawl its too watered down.. on the 64 one when you hits people you heard a huge POW..lol love it.. and you can play this online oon kaillera which makes it so much better.

You said, "online oon kalllera"? What is that exactly?

...thoughts?

I will receive and begin playing Melee for the first time this weekend! :shock:

SSB is by far my favorite game for N64; I have played it on/off it for many years.

I have played brawl but i feel like it was too far gone from the original, or maybe it was the wii controller i never liked. Melee looks like the happy medium.

I can't wait... :D

Oh! Thanks! That is a great bit of info. I will try repairing my cart instead of buying a memory card. What percent of other N64 save directly to the cartridge?

I find the lack of Falcon disturbing:evil:

xXTalismanXx

sorry im talking original batch of super smash characters :roll: i don't have a memory card to save all of those fancy characters yet

BUT i did unlock him the other day...played as falcon for while, sadly... not for long enough to get use to his controls. He is definitely cooler than jigglypuff...

[QUOTE="glassjawbox"][QUOTE="lazyhoboguy"]

You need to use a network setup disc (or a game with a network setup utilitity. They are listed here: http://www.ps2onlinegaming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=180 ) to create a ps2 network configuration to save to your memory card. ALso, are you trying to run an ethernet cord from your PC to the ps2? Is your PC on wireless internet then? IF so you would have to bridge the connections. YOu woul need to bridge your wireless network card and wired network card on your pc. Then when your computer is on you should be able to use your ps2 online that way.

AcidSoldner

thank you kindly for all the help sorry, im not very techno savvy. what do you mean by "bridge the connection"? is that when i enter my ip wireless internet password code thing?

You said you have a router correct? Get and ethernet cable and plug it in to your router and connect the other end to you PS2. You know have a connection. Take the 'Online Start-up Disc' or use Battlefront 2 to configure your network settings. It'll ask you things like what ISP you use, what IP address to you and such. If your still having trouble just look for some tutorial videos on youtube.

gotcha. fyi i am plugging ethernet cable into laptop with wireless internet. does that work as a router?
