I think they look great on all systems since it uses more 2D rendering than 3D. They'll use the 3D net.

I'm gonna get the Wii version since I want to use the Wiimote to control The Simpsons Family ... lol. Aside from Halo 3, it's my next most anticipated game. It just superceded ET:QW, CoD 4 and NFS: PS for me to get this year. I'll get those games, but I anticipate The Simpsons Game more.

Seriously, the E3 06 and E3 07 videos aren't quite different imo. They're almost the same quality but I find I like the old one better because it has better lighting.

Hey, guess what? There is an absolute definition for "game" and WiiFit is not a game! It is an anti-fatass program!jetthrovegas

"A game is something that is played soley for amusement, enjoyment, orstory absorbtion." Would you consider those the absolute definitions? If so I have to disagree, not to mention I would actually put in question some of those in at least what a game requires to actually be considered a game.

It can entertain you, be used as a pastime. That can actually have a competitive side to it, since it can show levels of progression and since it differs from one person to the next in said levels (If you actually read anything about the game) so yes by definition Wiifit is a game.

But, if it has a serious real world purpose that effects people physically through direct measures, it is not a game. I am not saying that WiiFit is bad. I am saying it is not a game.

You do realise that games are used for exercising methods for a long time. Shooters are for hand-eye co-ordination and racing games for driving awareness. Also, DDR for "fatness reduction" methods. If you say that WiiFit isn't a game, then nor should shooters and/or racing games.

That's it! I'm drawing the line!

WiiFit is not a game!

Zelda: TP is a game, Resident Evil 4 is a game, Dead Rising is a game...

An interactive program that tells you how much of a fatass you are, is not an ****ing game!

It will not be casual "game" of the year...it is not a game.

It will not be a good selling Wii "game"...it is not a game.

It will not be a gaming revolution...IT IS NOT A DAMN GAME!

There. Is that settled? Now I just need to convince GAMEspot not to review it...because it doesn't belong here, among the real games like Morrowind and Starcraft, because it does not even qualify as a game.

Let us draw the line here: It is an interactive health program, not a game.

jetthrovegas

Then we can also throw out all the shooter simulations, life simulators and racing simulators. Also, let's throw out RPG since it's a "What if?" simulator.

If not, then tell us what you think the definition of game means?

A game is something that is played soley for amusement, enjoyment,or story absorbtion.A program that helps you become healthy is not a game.

Although I might not get WiiFit, but many people enjoy exercising as a form of amusement and/or enjoyment which fits directly with your definition. Therefore, it IS a game, even in your definition.

If not, then tell us what you think the definition of game means?

[QUOTE="alxy_07"]saying that swapping disks ruins immersion is such a weak argument and you know it dual, lol. Im sure most sane people will have no problem with having to swap a few disks to enjoy a lenghty game. Gamers have done it for a long time and theres no reason we still cant. Keep sprouting your sony fanboy junk if it makes you feel better. Dualshockin

I still remember that in MGS 1, you had to switch the controller port from 1 to 2 just so that brain reading maniac can't think of what you're thinking and that the game was on two discs (if I remember correctly). So immersion my @$$.

Anyways, I'd be happy to see MGS4 on the X360 anyday. I love the series and still do.

gnutux

Now notice the main issue with your statement: Mgs1. We're now in 2007.

Thing was, did anyone scream and shout about it? Not that I know of. I'm sure that it's ok to spread it on multiple X360 discs. It won't really matter IMHO.

I think that Wii has almost secure its 1st place position in the long run, then comes the X360 before PS3 even gets on the list. Hey, anything can change, but that's my forecast.

I wouldn't put MGS4 until it's confirmed.
