Tales of Symphonia Revisited, Pt 2

It was rather cold and snowy this past weekend in Montreal, so I didn't go out much.

On the bright side, that gave me lots of time to play ToS. The last time I had played, I had just over 2 hours logged in. I now have nearly thirty hours of gameplay and from what I remember of this game, I'm only about 3/4 of the way through theFIRST disc. Seeing as how I went through a LOT of the game, I won't be able to post everything I did here, but I will give a general outlineof my progress so far.First of all, th first part of the game has you travelling across the world of Sylvarant, opening divine seals along the way. Once that's done, a rather serious (yet rather predictable) plot twist sends you to a new world called Tetthea'lla. There you meet new characters, solve some of the problems that occured earlier in the game and avoid the many attempts to kill youthat this world's pope orchastrates. After a while, you have to obtain the summon spirits in this world's temples, and that's were Iam now.

I know I'm being extremely vague, but I don't want to spoil to much of the story for those who have yet to play the game.

I've also heard that a sequel is being made on the Wii but there's no word yet on any release of the game outside of Japan yet(At least as far as I know, someone correct me if I'm wrong). If the game DOES come out in NA, I guess it will finally be time for me to get a Wii instead of just bumming around at my cousin's place while playing with his:P.

P.S. My tales review should be up as soon as I finish disc one, at some point this week.

Sleepless Night

Aww... I got Trials and Tribulations last monday, but I already finished it :( . It was great while it lasted, and that last trial had me up all night last night. I started playing around7:30 pm and finished it a little before 4 am. Good thing I don't have any classes on fridays :D.

At any rate, I really want to get my hands on Apollo Justice, the next Ace Attorney, but apparently it's not coming out until 2008.

Oh yeah, even with my eyesight all messed up from serious lack of sleep and my heart just about readyto fail from caffeine overdose, I put up my review on Trials and Tribulations. Enjoy! Now, I'm going to go catch up on my sleep and later on, I'll play some TOS.

Upcoming review

For those of you who do not know much about tales, I'll be posting a review about it soon enough. In the meantime, the official gamespot review should give you a decent enough idea of how the game works. I'm going to play the game a little more before posting my review and I should have it up by next week.

Tales of symphonia Revisited

About a year ago, my friend asked if he could borrow my Tales of Syphonia (TOS) for a short while. Short while my a**, as I got it back last week...:x Anyway, I've decided to play through it again after all that time and first thing I find out, Disc 1 no longer loads!!! After a short moment swearing my head off, I went to get the soft tissue I use to clean my DS's screens and did my best to gently clean the disk. The game finaly worked, and I started a new game. After all that time, I'd forgotten how much I love the gameplay. Unfortunately, I'd also forgotten how much I hate Genis and Colette's voices. I played for about two hours, made it to Triet and got Loyd captured by the bad guys. I figured I'd call it a day at that pointand decided to post my progress through the game on this blog. I'll keep it up till the end of the game, but since TOS isn't the only game I play, it could take me a while. I'll try to make some progress on the game every friday and put it on the blog by the next monday or tuesday, if not earlier.
