I regret buying Brutal Legend. It wasn't what I was hoping for, especially since I liked the demo of it.

You should check out the game recommendation thread.ChristopherRageThat would be my recommendation too. :)
I will warn you that there are some minor issues playing it on the 360, the frame rate and the sound will sometime drop. Still a good game, though.
It is always funny for me to see the "Can I get a price check/Trade in Value on [insert game] at [insert store]?" threads on forums.

It has been a weekend. I assume you wont see any money by monday. Its not like he intentionally screwed you over. You will get your money back.

Also, sometimes in this situation since the payment wasn't fully processed it may appear as "pending" in your bank account but not actually clear, so it may appear 3 times in your checking account, each as pending, but only one will actually clear
Hopefully
Agreed that typically only 1 will clear. This actually happens to many stores, and I have had this to me. I ordered something from Australia and there was a problem with the credit card order, and I noticed that my band saw multiple pending transactions. Panicking I called the company's customer support line about the billing, and he says "Don't worry mate, only one transaction will go through." Of course it was easy for him to say, but I decided I didn't have really recourse, being the company was based out of Australia, until I waited. A few days later, he was correct. I was only charged once.I really don't trust the number VGChartz reports. Back in 2007, I had questions about diferences in the actual number reported and what VGChartz reported.

If you are worried about buying a game full price, I recommend waiting for the game to go on sale. Typically you can buy a recent new title when a good sale comes around cheaper than buying it used. Besides, didn't Toys 'R US just have buy Mass Effect 2 and get a $10 gift card? ;)
I like that they are taking chances and trying to make it somewhat entaining. WiiCast -which sometimes had skits - when it was around was great, and I was disappointed the person moved onto other things. Nintendo Week should have more previews and more games highlighted, but I think the skits should stay.
I am 37. Married and a daughter, and I still play video games. The days of people being to old to play video games are over.
Since when did Nintendo say Metroid Prime Trilogy was collector's edition only? Either way, this is just another event to add to the long growing tree of how Nintendo does not care about the core gamer. cut supply of a trilogy you know people want and then cut 3 more games out.

Sorry to say, but the hard core gamers would have already bought the game if they wanted it. It is a collector's edition. Most collector editions don't have a long run, which helps the hard core gamers have bragging rights because they picked it up.
