[QUOTE="goon1030"][QUOTE="Robograndma"]people should understand that those going through a severe illness may make rash decision or may be prone to depression. you brother is going through a rough time right now and you need to try to help him, even though he may sound selfish nowRobograndma
we are but he has every right to check him self out and we cant stop him. he wont lets us. and if he comes home tomorrow i am going to take the glock out of his house and hide it at mine where he cant find it.

he feels alot better and looks alot better because they gave him medication for his high blood pressure and it is now pretty close to normal and he thinks they dont know what they are talking about. If heis potassium levels go down to normal aby tomorrow then we will all feel alot better . but if it doesnt and he leaves the hospital he could die within 7 days

why wont he do dialysis? it better than donating a kidney for shorterm problems. its not like hes going to stay in the hospital forever. ithink he is being selfish Devouring_One
there are a few reasons he wouldnt do dialysis like it is VERY exspensive and very painful and he would have to do it a couple times a week for 4hrs at a time for a long time.

Saturday morning i get a phone call from my brothers g/f saying i need to get over there to their place because he needs to go to the hospital. For 3 months he has had non-stop migraines, lower back pains, and just recently blurred vision in his left eye and others symptoms. So he went on WebMD and read some stuff on brain tumors and thought that was it, but it wasn't. The doctors at the hospital ran bloods test and took sonagrams (the way they look at babies in the womb) of his kidneys. It turns out that his blood pressure was 235/135 and that it caused kidney failure and he was on the verge of a stroke (he is 30 and i am 19). So they transferred him to a hospital with a kidney specialist in Las Vegas (we live 1 1/2 hrs from there). At the Las Vegas hospital they ran more blood test and another sonogram and said that there wasn't any visible kidney damage, but his potassium levels were to high which meant that his kidneys weren't working right. So Sunday we didn't get any answers or anything. Today the doctor said that if his potassium levels don't go down, that he will need to go on a dialysis machine or have a kidney biopsy, which he refuses to do neither. He wants to check him self out tomorrow since he came in willingly, because he doesn't want to be hooked up to all these machines. He has type A- blood which is third rarest blood type and so does his g/f but she also has kidney problem and is unable to give blood or donate a kidney. I told her that i would have my blood checked to find out what type i am and if i am a match i want him to have one of mine because he is my brother and i love him. She mentioned it to him and his reaction was like "why bother". He even told the doctor he wouldnt do any of the procedures they offered and said " I have a .45 and can do it on my own." We(meaning me and his g/f) think he is being selfish and does not care that others around him love him and want him to be around. What do you guys think? I need some support because of all this going on. Thank you

-Jason
