Yesterday my family and I went on a trip, we drove from Gothenburg, Sweden to Helsingør in Denmark. In the car I read this book called On the Road by Jack Kerouac, in it the narrator hitchhikes from New York to Denver and it made me think that it's too bad you'll get robbed raped and murdered doing something like that nowadays. Yesterday was also Denmark's "nationaldag" so almost everything in Helsingør was closed, instead we drove up the cost to the small fisherman's village Gileleje and well there I ate way to much deep fried food (squid and fries). The weather was perfect, though windy. And since practically all of my family's vacations end up being driving to Denmark this day felt a lot like a true summer's day. The smell of the sea, the sound of sea gulls, the wind in your hair and the sunshine on your face...The impossibility of understanding a single word in Danish...
It's feelings like that you need after a long northern winter, that's what you long for and remember when the sun isn't up for 18 hours a day anymore. That's what you believe will make it worth it.
And it all has to be worth it.
The hard part is that you're the one who has to do it, and when it's all up to you there's that possibility of failure. What if you're just wasting your time?
Why do I always forgett about the title?

I saw this documentary on tvåan yesterday about TV-series and its creators. I didn't know all the stuff about how TV things worked there on the other side of the pond, all the rules about what you couldn't show on Network channels( it's forbidden to show someone through a sniper's binocular thingy on his gun if there's a cross-with-a-ring in the picture, do you get what I'm trying to say here?) How basic cable had some rules whilst premium cable had now sense of discretion at all(HBO) It was real interesting to See how they plot their shows so that everything exciting happens 8 minutes apart i.e. commercial break time. And how many billboards of TV shows commercials there was along the roads in LA, that there is a whole time period where all new pilots air. Television has a lot of control over many peoples lives.
Back to reality then, there's been planes and helicopters and shootings by the military for two days now, won't they just shut up for a while!
Words of wisdom: Let us all dress up as guys and play soccer!

Okay, my brother just showed me this video of this guy and his one man band. I can't really decide if it's fun or just stupid but I think it relates to me in some way because he had had way too much time on his hands to do this, which I will have too pretty soon!

Something I know I like is this band at www.clintonsband.com click on Launch player in the right hand corner for some awesome tunes when ever you're bored of your old playlists! This line from college daze for example:Four a.m., drunk again, got a final in biology at 10
Stupid me, nothing’s free, this degree is taking an eternity
We practically just experienced the same thing and we are soon to feel like this: we could lay in bed all day
And dream about doing something a little bit more productive
And Åsa if you remember my kollegeblock-spiral creation I am now proud to tell you that I hung prisms and pink beads and sequins on metal wire around it. Its very pretty.
I'm sexy, I'm hot , I'm everything you're not

Hey hey hey...I'm climbing the proof-of-nerdiness ladder here. Door number two sounds so mysterious. I had a dream where I was at level 86 or something and I had to find Elin and rub it in her face. My whole night was weird, don't ask.
So, a G in maths D then, I guess I can't complain, it's not like I was close to any borders or something. Maths has never really been my thing and now I don't have to deal with it anymore. Would have been nice to go off with a bang, but orka spurta intelektuellt...
Ohh...I saw this thing that would be awesome if we joined,(drum roll, please.....) A Cheer leading squad!! They're looking for boys and girls ages 14-20, we'd fit right in!:P I bet we'd be the only ones making cheers in Bring it on style. Kirsten and her gals kan slänga sig i väggen!
Well, well I never saw it coming my way

I came this close to coming down with a fever today, 37,9 it said. Didn't really matter since we're off school the following days any how. It did give me legitimate reason for staying indoors all day though. And for sleeping ten hours only to take a looooong nap three hours later. I haven't been sick for a while so even though it's not serious I might just make the most out of it. Sleeping while listening to Rilo Kiley is something can recommend, very soothing. I might just go and do that soon so I'll leave you with this:
We can see the stars
from where the birds make their homes
staring back at us.
Indifferent
but distanced perfectly
projected endlessly
it's so f*cking beautiful

I'm getting pretty tired of level 8 now, maybe I should add some more "is a vegetarian" to random people no ones ever heard of. If only my last submissions would stop pending, they've been idle for four days now, nicht good I say.
I kinda like this new show on Femman, "the was at home" I saw the pilot on Monday and I've seen the Dad appear on Ellen show, I thought he was odd some how but I can't remember what is was that bothered me. Anyway, the first episode the Dad thought his son might be gay, and homofibic white middle aged men are always fun. They have a sort of Scrubs a like dream world thingy where they comment what's happening in a place where all is white and every thing is possible. Maybe I should just add this in a review and earn some points...
While I'm at it I might just slå ett slag for this talk show on MTV called "Hej kom och hjälp MiG". I'm not their most loyal fan but when I do watch it I often find it refreshing and funny in such a weired way. The Host guy is strange, but still charming and he's funny in the way that he blurts stuff out that no one ever would have thought of. xeroxing famous guests faces and having them sign it with a silver pen is really smart, I think.
Well that's it for today, I have no energy left to write about the squids and all the slime and the smell, you'll just have to remember it or imagine it yourselves.

Let me tell y'all 'bout my day, I woke up from my brothers constant computer gaming, apparently the new Heroes is great all though it has it's flaws. I thought it still was pretty early so I laid in my bed till 9:40 or something, showered, got dressed and had breakfast. Then I started writing some articles and I now have one and a half finished but not typed. I should think a bit harder on my Argumenterande tal so I wont have to do it all tomorrow but it's so much easier just to postpone it, I'm not sure a great or lousy one could make my grade change from the, what I assume, is a pretty solid VG. A topic would be good though...Maybe I'll fight for KRAV bananas or something.
For lunch I had meatballs and toast, while watching an SNL re-run, with Matt Damon and Bruce Springsteen an the E street band. It was just as exciting as it sounds. Before coming on here I caught a giant queen wasp which I released out in to the wild. Good karma from the freedom given to the wasp as well as from eliminating the risk of somebody being stung.
I gotta check out the whole Marissa thing I only caught half of the news segment, anyone know what I'm talking about who could tell me?

OMG, level 6. YaY me! That list of entertainment stars with diabetes really payed off! and I'm not even half way through. I am a bit shamed to say that one of the first things I came to think of was: Did I pass Åsa? I'm sorry, I shouldn't gloat.
Here is quote I tried to re-submit because it wasn't approved of for some reason but now look what I got:
(George: Why are you yelling at me?
Christina: Because of the estrogen, George, because of all the estrogen!!)

Saturday I spent in Sweden's biggest "rastplats" Gränna. On the way there we drove off to take a look at the Lager 157 outlet stores but I still thought that all the clothes were expensive, I mean 249 kr for a "plain" t-shirt that said Billabong across it. But if I wanted to I could have walked out of there looking like a Marissa.
Today I shopped in good old Frölunda Torg instead and after that we had a picnic in Nya varvet. Last summer I managed o kick a football up and down 17 times so this summer (since I won't have anything better to do) I plan on breaking that record, or learn how to juggle, but today I only managed 9 bounces or watchamacallit. Soon Ronaldinho (he's a footballer Åsa)will call and ask me to feature in the next nike commercial.
Tomorrow will probably sick though seeing as I have my Oral book report first thing and after that I'm gonna prove that I am in lousy running shape. Awesome..!

But do you know what I say...Piñatas and Tequila for everybody!
It has been such and amazing day today with all the sun and leavy trees and the fact that I'm almost sunburnt( I might have stretched the truth a bit there...) but still it's enough to make me happy. Although I'm getting pretty hungry seeing how my parents are preparing dinner...And I think I smell bacon...
When I turned on the TV I saw that the guy, Paul, from Hotel Rwanda which we just saw, was appearing on Ophra, how's that of an coincidence! They talked about racism and discrimination and apparently hes in Crash because the rest of the cast were there too. Yep, that's about all the exciting things that has happened to me lately now go soak up that sun I tell you! Hasta Luego!
