Sunshine, moonlight, good times, boogie

What a fab day it has been, the heat, the Popsicle, the having less math incident...So from this combined with the fact that my lists are more of a contribution to society rather than personal entertainment I now list all great summery songs (candy will have to wait).

Summer Songs:

10.Baby when you're gone by Brian Adams and Mel C

9.Road trippin' by Red Hot Chili Peppers

8.Soak up the sun by Sheryl Crow

7.Island in the sun by Weezer

6.Beautiful day by U2

5.Summer sunshine by The Corrs

4.Have a nice day by Stereophonics

3.Why don't you and I by Santana and Alex Band

2.Affrimation by Savage Garden

1.Cosa mas bella by Eros Ramazzotti

My beautiful List

So today I too plan on composing a list for all of you to enjoy and adore and what I thought of doing is to categorize songs by Most... or Best... so here goes

Most stupid: Don't pick it up by the Offspring because I really don't know what its about or possibly Spare me the details by the same group because honestly you kinda wish that they would have but its so catchy you can't help yourself.

Forgotten: Bring it all back by S club 7, I mean how often do you hum at that one?

Cutest: När min pojke gåt på stan by Doktor  Kosmos just listen to it it's just so sweet and catchy

Weirdest: Storebror by Laleh all I thought when I heard it was: !?!?

Best parody: The saga begins by Weird Al, it tells the entire plot of Star wars I to the melody of American Pie

Best TV theme:  The Drew Carey Show's Cleveland Rocks by The Presidents Of The United States Of America

Soundtrack: Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus or All star or Accidentally in love by Counting Crows , I can't really decide

Best cover: When the stars go blue by the Corrs feat. Bono

Sing along: Girl next door by Lucy Street, in 6thgrade we use to sing this all the time.

Makes you wanna dance: Together again by Janet Jackson

That's my list for today maybe I'll be back some day with another one (by popular demand perhaps?)

Life is like a big pile of sand

HI EVERYBODY! (say it like Dr Nick in the Simpson's and your day will be so much better). So I bet you all are super psyked (I'll be looking for someone to tell me how that word is spelled)to here what kinds of things I have done to day. Lets jump right to the good stuff, I have brought lots of cow manure some office materials at Överskotts bolaget. And also some beads out of which I've made a pretty blue bracelet. I've also created the coolest comic-superman Warhol inspired painting thingy which everyone should adore.(I know I just honked my horn a bit too much there, its not all that original). All of that combined with the article I finished I'd say this has been a pretty productive day after all.

This is today's picture and metaphor, just because I had so much fun jumping down(=today) while it was hard to walk up again(=school days)

Stumble on tomorrow and trip over today

What a day...I haven't done anything even slightly productive or healthy for that matter. And I can truly say this because the only things I will be able to remember from today will be having seen Serenity which is kinda mysko as Oliver so perfectly put it. The other thing that still haunts me is the piece of chocolate cake I had instead of lunch, I still feel like you can after eating too much whipped cream, which isn't completely untrue...I should go be creative instead of sitting here like a geek-dollar ATM, I just don't know what to do. Maybe do something with our balcony or make the superman goes Andy Warhol picture I did a bit cooler, I just need a kick in the butt.

Song of the day: "I don't need you" by Clark and "Would you be happier" by the Corrs because I can't get it out of my head, which isn't that bad after all considering the happy trotting elf song...

Sid's squids

Hopefully this will be my last day as a soup natzi, but since we all know what happend to Åsa I guess you shouldn't party in advace.

This week has been fun every day, Monday we had an awesome day in school and after that we had it even better at Elin's preparing her closet for the coming shopping trip. Tuesday's road trip to Ullared was a complete success as well as Wednesday's Hvitfeldtskadag. Thursday was a pretty normal day a guess, but I got payed and money can be fun. Ice Age 2 on Friday and now I'm gonna whatch Narnia and later on today perhaps I'll see King Kong and Serenity too.

Found this on a T-shirt. Pretty nasty really.

insert witty title here

Hi everybody,

Today I, well the men in my family, fished in the canal in the city and before you start to imagine what kinds of mutated things we caught let me just tell you, we planed to throw back what we caught. And I've seen evidence of there actually being fish in there. But as it turned out they didn't catch anything, so we had lunch instead. As we got in the car to go home dad said "Julia, wanna drive home?" and at that instant Oliver tuned his head with genuine fear in his eyes and said "NO!". I mean come on, I'm not that bad! and then Felix talked abut whiplash injuries all the way home.

Even though we got something nasty to do almost every lesson in school tomorrow I'm not the least discurraged, a bit sad I couldn't make the math thing work out for me though, I'll have to ask someone.

Song of the day is Thinking of you by Blacknuss

The pic of today has a lunarstorm feel to it dontchathink?

sunny Saturday

Today has been a lovely day. I sat on the balcony in the sunshine and read a bit out of Goete, or whatshisname, a bee flew by, children cried, it certainly felt like summer. I even got inspired to start writing an other article but I quickly tired of that.

I haven't really been productive today, I've postponed a lot of things but I don't think that counts as productivity. But the day isn't over yet.

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b194/berrybucket/Bild068.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

I wonder if the pic thing worked...

Either way here's today's proverb: Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me.

Wasn't that funny so say.:P

Not so innocent after all...

A few days ago I realized that a song I've listened to a million times and thought to be about a lonely girl who meets a boy who likes her, is actually about a John who sees something beautiful in a hooker. I felt so naive for taking the words "there's a deep girl at the corner shop, selling sugar for money in the dead of the night" literary. I honestly thought she sold sugar, that it was like the story about the little match stick girl who was poor and lonely. What an eye opener that was... Nothing much went on to day but having an ice cream in the sunshine was well needed, as Ida said: you shouldn't thing it's summer before somebody gets a move on it! Bye for now everybody, listen to my words of wisdom: Don’t drink and drive Smoke weed and fly!

Juvenes, veinte de Aprilo

(To my Swedish fan base: omg, someone in a commercial just translated Bluetooth in to "Blåtand"!?!? Awful, I tell you). Today I've been feeling a bit tired, and maybe it's some sort of sympathy symptoms for my sick brothers and Elin, but my throat's a bit sore. Bad news since you wouldn't want to miss showing your self off in a swimsuit on Monday, right. I killed a spider at my little friends house today, we'll have to wait and see whether it rains tomorrow. This has been a rather uneventful day, and I so don't feel like doing my math's homework. I just bummed my self out...I should stop doing that. I'll just go to my happy place instead, I've got a quintet! Since this blog has been rather boring, if I may say so myself, I'll leave you all with this; a great song called light years by Pearl jam and the beautiful line: "We were but stones, your light made us stars" from the song mentioned above. Seriously, I love that sentence, as well as the song.

like industrial strength adhesive

So we're all back in school again and loving every minute of it...yeah, my pants are on fire. No, seriously though this was a soft start and as far as a day back in school after a holiday comes this was a pretty alright one. Even though I missed my bus for some reason it wasn't enough to bring me down, I just smiled and walked away in the sunshine to Grönsakstorget and took the tram. Tomorrow though will probably not be so great considering that the "demonstrativa talet" I'm supposed to hold isn't in writing it's in my head and who knows what may happen then. But I hope I can keep cool and teach every one how to fold a little box. Honestly how slow can handels students really be..? Other than that I haven't had a very interesting day, I did see the girl in "Morrongänget"- the radio show I wake up to every morning since it's the only one where the radio hosts' voices don't drive me crazy. Also, I saw someone on the tram that in from behind looked like a prince charming but as things turned out it was actually a middle age woman...Bummer, huh? I'll be back with some real news some other day. P.S I think I'll start a tradition posting something beautiful every day, a song, a picture, some lyrics, yeah you get the picture... and today's winner is(drum roll please...) "Sex on the radio" by the Clintons (listed to it on Garageband.com)
