This card is W I D E. Is it ok for it to cover or touch surrounding stuff on the MOBO? I'm putting it in a Gigabyte 965P-S3.

You will need a new power supply for sure.

That card should be fine for most RTS games. I'm playing DOW II on an 8800 at max setting on a large monitor so you should be fine.

Got it, adds about 30 bucks, but not bad.

You will definately notice quite a nice bump in improvement. The 8800GT is by no means bad, but it's getting on a bit. My bro has basically the same comp, and is having no problems running what's out there (just make sure you are looking at the core216)lundy86_4

What's core216?

Currently running the system in my sig on a Gigabyte 965P-S3. Looking to upgrade to run games on a large monitor. I'm not really looking to go the new MOBO route. The following looks like about the max I can do. Prices are from NEWEGG.

EVGA GTX-260 896MB 199.99
Intel Core2Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 196.99
2 GB GSkill Memory 29.98

Total: 439.98

Will I get a noticable improvement?

Running XP by the way.

Getting a PS3 today. Now I will have a PS3 and 360, but my monitor only has one component input. I also have a pair of speakers hooked up to the 360. What is the most economical way to hook both systems up?

I need to hook several component cable to a single input on my monitor. Can anyone suggest a switch. One I can pick up at best buy or the like would be good. I need it today if possible.
