OH MY GOD! Our feedback was actually heard! Today we have won a war many consumers have lost, feel proud gamers as we stand high today. Today we have shown the big companies who is boss. XBOX One you now have a fighting chance, now you have to get rid of the always on kinect and we have a deal.

@udubdawgz @gralvader I never said that developing countries would decide the fate of consoles. I only stated that there is a market that can be entered way more easily with Sony's current policy.

@udubdawgz I know exactly what it means, but I will enlighten you. When will the whole wolrd have reliable internet? What about the untapped potential of consumer markets in developing countries? (which by the way, don't have reliable internet) think into the future and you will see that it is in the best interest of Sony to remain with the same model as to get the most profit. It might change someday but I don't think it will any time soon.

So... Mr. Mattrick, regarding this "We're delivering thousands of dollars of value to people" Could you please elaborate, aren't we the ones providing the thousands of dollars of value to your company and not the other way around? Please cut the crap! I help pay your bills, if you don't treat me with respect I'll take my business elsewhere.

@Alex_3D I wouldn't bet on that, remember the PS2? Back then it was the most mainstream console and yet the PS3 had it rough when it launched, Sony made many mistakes with the PS3 during launch. Fastforward to today and the one making the mistakes this time around is Microsoft.

Cliff... Cliff... Cliff... Really? You think discs are going away in favor of all digital? You need a reality check and look at the rest of the world, not everybody has internet and a lot of people still preffer hard copies.

The X1 controller looks way better than the PS4 controller.

Too bad everything else from the X1 is crap.

@GOGOHeadray Finally someone gets it! If you give them the tools they will use them because it doesn't cost them, someone else has already made that investment for them. Don't give them the tools and they will be reluctant to develop their own protection methods.
