A few more years and these tablets will finally be able to do games like these justice. Nearly there folks!

Intro theme to this video (Doom 3 Theme by Tweaker) is such a rockin' song, too bad it cuts before the guitars come in. A real Tool-esque vibe to it.

Danny is spot on with his analysis of Doom 3 here. In particular I too was fascinated by the little interactive control screens you would find about the world. Such detail blew my little mind at the time.

I despise free to play...just create a quality experience and people will pay the $$$.

Dang...was looking forward to Hardline in October. That said, I'm all for delays...I've played enough unfinished and unpolished games in recent years.

Hopefully it's as early in 2015 as possible to distance itself from Star Wars: Battlefront as much as possible.

Did Danny give his hair grey highlights or something? Or is it just me? :P

Also this issue highlights why I stay the hell away from Kickstarter/crowd funding. Although I love the concept, until I see enough games or products that come out the other end and fully realise their potential and value (to me at least), I'll hold on to my money. I suppose if Star Citizen turns out to be a monumental success then I might be a believer, but it will be years before that will be become clear.

FALCON-COMMENT!!!

As if there was any doubt Captain Falcon would be in the game. He probably has the most famous move in the entire series.

The sync kills they showed off here don't seem as cool as previous games. I miss Connor's more "brawly" combat style.

@Metallicwolf29 I played through it last week! Really good. If you're playing on hard, have fun with that last boss :P

The question is, will it rival Dice's superb sound design in Battlefield?

I think this video missed a major reason, being that the way the guns FELT was so much better. They were so much more solid, and had a real oomph to them - especially the assault rifles. Combined with the aforementioned impeccable hit detection, they were all a joy to use.
