yeah for people not liking auto aim, just disable it. Thats the first thing i did before even playing the game, searched every game option and turned this lame auto aim.
hmm, just customize the controls to your like, and you can also turn auto aim off. You can also enable anti aliasing under the " advanced smoothing " option ( needs minimal thinking here since its 2x, 4x :|, cmon, how did you miss this one ). Overall the game really doesnt feel like a bad port to me.... notice how the right mouse button fires the gun in your right hand, and the left button corresponds to the left hand? They just made it feel natural. And they left the controller keys for easy access for people that use controllers on PCs. Isnt it better if they actually make a custom menu for the demo? instead of just taking the real menu and greying out stuff??
Its stupid and outtdated. More than half thos games have not seen the light of day and wont till 2008 and the other half of them blowDude_1000
think of how long it took the creator of the thread to make it, the effort and work. And 2007 isnt over yet, so if it really bothers you that much, dont press your left mouse button when you go over it.
Imho,the halo seriesis good on consoles because the average console shooter is garbage. The halo series is " pc quality " shooter, thats why its getting such great reviews, for consoles. Basically the halo series is good for consoles, but mediocre for pc, because the quality of pc shooters surpass it by alot..
i will probably buy it too. I just completely LOVE the motion blur and the way the mouse moves. I wish every game had this kind of motion blur andd such. It also looks good and runs really well. I dont knw how well it will run in bigger environments though.
i have guild wars :|. To mmo fans this might seem completely normal, but for a hardcore fps guy like me, its pretty embarassing. I dont play it anymore though.
waaaaay too soon to tell. Every game looks promising 1 year before its release. Anyways, they are both pretty much the same kind of game. But i think crysis will get better scores because its the first of the upcoming "next gen" games coming to pc. It will basically havea bigger wow factor because its the first time we will see something like this
yeah if you can wait till october 10th, the orange box is the best value package i have seen in a long while. You get 5 "great" games (2 we can already confirm) and with all that stuff, your guaranted 25 hours+ without even touching tf2.
All you just did was validate my 2 points, namely Bioshock water either looks better or is equal too crysis water, and that HL2 +FF has better textures.

"How about the water? Bioshock is the clear winner." . Is that saying its equal? Anyways, the most important point is that crysis beats games at their own speciality. Bioshock was focusing on water effects, crysis' water beats/ties it, even if its not their main objective. And you cant really compare a game+mod against a stock game, unless you add the same kind of modto the stock game, for comparing graphics that is.
im really pleased with the mp beta. My only complain is tat its really not optimized, and even with my specs i must run it all on low to get 25 to 60+fps.on high it looks insanely sweet, and the motion blur gives the illusion of semi-good fps, but there is no way you can play competitively with 15fps.
