yep, you bought a prebuild computer, probably from dell or hp or some other company. What they all do is say its amazing and give you the processor specs, amount of ram and the size of the hard drive, topping it off with "teh amazing" vista. Learn this lesson, build it yourself, NEXTIME.

the only setting affecting me is pretty much the mountain LOD, since imo too much motion blur is annoying, the water is already damn good, and the sunshafts are avaible in dx9 too ( well in the beta at least, and they are the same as the dx10 ones).

Alright, i have been looking for a good game under 20$, and i have narrowed down my choice to either the chronicles of riddick and raibow six : vegas. They are both 20$ on D2D. Wich one should i get? I heard that r6 vegas is really not optimized, and im not sure how well it wil run on my system. I have tried the riddick demo and i like. Thanks in advance.

hey man, you have chosen basically the exact same computer i have built... Now the thing to think about is will your pc become obsolete in 3 or 4 years... yes if you keep what you have in it, but... since you have an upgradeable computer you can add some stuff to it once a year you know... The first thing to think about is the fact that if you get a SLI motherboard you could easily double your computers performance. So make sure to get a 680i or similar for that has the best SLI capabilities and a LGA 775 socket that can have a quad core in it which is yours... So whenever you need to you can upgrade RAM, Processor, and another video card and have no compatibility issues. when they build a quad core processor that runs 1333 fsb is when you should get the processor and all. So hope you learned a little lol. Build it, its a good time to build imo. (only thing is that g92 series is coming out soon and 8 core processors are in the future) so its always dreadful to see that in the future.

going SLI doesnt "easily double" your computer's performance. It will definately improve it, but not double it.
