going SLI doesnt "easily double" your computer's performance. It will definately improve it, but not double it.hey man, you have chosen basically the exact same computer i have built... Now the thing to think about is will your pc become obsolete in 3 or 4 years... yes if you keep what you have in it, but... since you have an upgradeable computer you can add some stuff to it once a year you know... The first thing to think about is the fact that if you get a SLI motherboard you could easily double your computers performance. So make sure to get a 680i or similar for that has the best SLI capabilities and a LGA 775 socket that can have a quad core in it which is yours... So whenever you need to you can upgrade RAM, Processor, and another video card and have no compatibility issues. when they build a quad core processor that runs 1333 fsb is when you should get the processor and all. So hope you learned a little lol. Build it, its a good time to build imo. (only thing is that g92 series is coming out soon and 8 core processors are in the future) so its always dreadful to see that in the future.
