Well I live in a place where they have PAL systems. The Wiis over here cost too much so I was thinking of buying it from Canada (going there). Its going to be NTSC. So what problems will I come across? We use 220/240V (dont remember exactly) power. I can easily get games imported to my place from Canada. And I can also get Nadel's Wiiloader for emergencies. I will be only playing a few games so buying games wont be a problem. I will probably ply only SSBB this year and maybe Wario/Mario Galaxy as well but I doubt I will go beyond that for some time until another blockbuster rolls out. I doubt games will be a problem. Neither will controllers. Woudl the North American Wii be able to work with 220/240v power? Any other problems?

Ok I know this is a PC foruma nd all that but cmon please bear with me:

I dont want to build a whole PC just for gaming so I want to just do whatever I can with the new laptop I might be purchasing. I had my mind set on a Macbook low end but the Macbook Pro doesnt look too bad. It has that multi touch, backlighting and higher resolution.

So can the Macbook Pro play these games and how well:
World in Conflict
Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
Elder Scrolls Oblivion
Civ IV
Company of Heroes

and not so important:
Portal
Battlefield 2
Gears of War
Assassins Creed
Command and Conquer (the new one)

I have hardly played the Advanced Wars series. I have just played a little of the Black Hole RIsing on the GBA.

Now my question is that Days of Ruin got a low rating (8.0). I trust Gamespot a lot. Do you think Days of Ruin is one game I shouldnt consider highly? Woud I be better off purchasing some other games instead and buy this only if other good games arent there.

Is Days of Ruin very hard?

Gamespot says that the tracks are old or something so it got a lower rating. I have never played Mario Kart so do you think this one would be a good start? Would it be considered as 9.0 plus rated game?

Iam using the cables which came with the PS2. They are the Red, Yellow White ones. What are they called? I am not sure but I think my TVs dont have a very high resolution. So I am thinking of running it on my monitor.

The latest consoles have high resolutions so they look alright but on my old PS2, the resolution is quite low so sometimes it becomes hard for me to read whats written on screen and to see icons and stuff easily. Is tehre any way that I can make it look better/clearer? Like by hooking it up to me monitor?
