everytime i bought a game lower than 8.5, it winded up sucking somehow so i think the critics know what i want better than i do so ill listen to the pros, except when it comes to wii games, im about graphics and tech, not fun.
seriously, did u just name 2 wii game... joke reply? anywayz, kz2 was good, but it still not as good as crysis, and im bored with it now lol, i havnt played it in weeks. but ya, we were promised why more than what we got, just look at the sony conference at the year ps3 came out :P
well the environments are kinda supposed to be boring and bland, its mars :P and i agree that the mechanics arnt that great, but its certinly not terrible and the ai isnt too bad either. seriously, the multiplayer demo that i got a week ago was enough for me to buy this game. im just somewhat disturbed that i bought something thats an 8.0 at ign, i dont buy games that are
seriously, i expected dynamic clothing, extremely real acting physics, subsurface scattering, the works. I thought crysis on very high was gonna be the norm for games this gen, but no, consoles cant even reach that far :( i hope next gen, consoles are made so they at least last 3 years before a pc dominates them. and yes i strongly support consoles being able to be modified with add ons. remember the expansion pack for the n64? with the extra vid ram, i wouldent mind something like that at all. and the "real-time" gameplay footage shown by so many game companies werent even close to what crap we got sometime. and why arnt games 60fps, i mean when i play a game and for some reason, may it be for the character being in a tight corridor, the gameplay feels so smooth. like cod4, i though most games were gonna be made in 60fps, i was wrong :( and those people who prefer 30fps are just fanboys who dont wanna admit what consoles cant do. and as for pc, its not even worth it to get a good graphics card these days, nvidia keeps churning card ever month and dx11 is coming out soon and not alottta hott pc games besides crysis are really worth upgrading my olg gt7600 for. heres hoping for cg like graphics next gen and awesome gameplay too with completely real acting people and environments.
seriously, i got the game yesterday and ive been hooked ever since. Of course MP isint online yet but thats expected since my store doesent give a rats A$$ about release dates. but ya, the missions are diverse, the land is huge, and the game is overall really fun and youll spend alotta hours on it. the destructability has yet to get old on me and suprises me all the time and weapons only add to it. Ya the combat and shooting and ai is a bit flacky but i think the game was meant to be more of a tech showcase and is still fun. and MP will only add to it. Im already having more fun with this game then i am with infamous. (which ill prob sell btw cause most single player games arnt worth keeping if i buy them, and no i dont give a $%it about a game over just for a different ending or trophies. i seriously dont understand why people actually go to lengths for trophies and achievements. it doesent so skill it just shows u have way to much time on ur hands :P (for the most part) i think most hate stems from the nostalgic RF players who wanted an fps and such. anywayz, if anyone else has it for ps3 adn wanna do some online, my psn is deadlyliquidx. p.s if u wanna get a game early, dont buy from a major retailer!! go to some random ass local game store, if there like mines, they just start selling soon as the game comes in.
