This would be pretty sweet to have for those of us in the military- instead of lugging a TV to and from bases, we can load up a bag with a PS4 (packed with soft-games) a controller, the VR set and an HDMI cable and be good to go in one backpack
@OuroborosChoked @Jinzo_111887 He's talking about PS+ being required for online multiplayer on PS4- the thing is, PS+ is freaking awesome, so it shouldn't really be seen as a negative.
Illumi-room sounded pretty cool, but i figured the whole point of the tech was they they devised an inexpensive, low res projector that you just put on your coffee table (as Kinect was an inexpensive 3D camera/motion sensor that you just put on your tv stand). If it's just software that you're supposed to sync to a regular, expensive projector, that is much less impressive.
I'll wait for them to hit the Console goal before I get too excited. Though 2,500,000 seems like a bit of stretch after all the noise Sony has made about making it easy to publish/port indie games on PS4
Maybe WiiU wasn't the way to go? With all the support Sony has been giving to indie games (and the huge fan base David Hayter has in the Playstation community), not making a PS4 version seems like an odd move
@Tixylixx I love it when PC gamers use blanket statements like "it won't look as good as the PC version"... Here's a question: WHOSE PC!?! I guarantee there are millions of PCs that will be running this game in november FAR below the standard set by the new consoles. There will also be a lot of people running super-computers, spec'd out for gaming, that will look nicer than the new consoles, but trying to make objective statements about how a game is going to look on "PC" is actually impossible. Consoles on the other hand, come down to how nice your TV is; and if you've got a nice 1080p set, there won't be a lot of quality disparity between televisions running the game on the same console.
