All My DS Reviews Are Finished!

I just finished my last Nintendo DS review, so now I can order them here for you to see.

1) The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (10.0)

2) Mario Kart DS (9.5)

3) Super Mario 64 DS (9.0)

4) Diddy Kong Racing DS (9.0)

5) WarioWare: Touched! (8.5)

6) Yoshi: Touch & Go (8.0)

So there you have it! Yoshi: Touch & Go and Diddy Kong Racing DS were really underrated games that I think a lot of people would enjoy. Tell me what you think (I know, I say this in every blog post lol).

Game Boy Games Reviewed...

I know I only have 3 original Game Boy games reviewed, all of which are the Poke'mon games and have a rating of 9.0, but I'm still going to rate them from best to worst.

1. Poke'mon: Blue Version

2. Poke'mon: Red Version

3. Poke'mon: Yellow Version

I know there's not a huge difference between these games. What do you think? (I need more friennnddss so they can comment more of my blogs lol)

New Reviews Posted

I posted all of my reviews for all of my original Game Boy games (only 3 which, coincidentily, are the 3 Poke'mon games lol) and I wrote one for Super Mario 64 DS. The one I wrote for Super Mario 64 DS is, in my opinion, my best review I've ever written for a game. So if you're reading this blog post, please read my review for Super Mario 64 DS and give me feedback. Thanks

My Reviews And Such...

Now that I'm trying to get more involved, I edited everything on my profile so it's up to date. I also started to review games besides the Xbox finally (gasp!), but only 1 so far which is Poke'mon Blue.

If anyone has the time, please let me know what they think of my reviews and my format for them. Too long, too short? Not enough details? Just let me know so I can fix them and future ones. Also, remember to add me :)

Sorry for not updating

I've been really busy, so I haven't been too active in the GameSpot community lately. So many things have happened since my last blog post, so I feel like I should update. First of all, I've hacked my PSP (as well as my ipod :)) soooo much more since when I first started. I have a lot of things running on it, and there's too many to name. Secondly, I got a new flat screen tv for my room which is pretty sick (HDTV). It makes my older systems look kind of weirder (except Xbox), but I don't really care. I have been playing a bunch of games I own that I never put a lot of time into, which is always fun (check my Now Playing which I just updated).

Some other things... I joined a UT clan (SOP-Snipers), started making maps with the Unreal Engine for the first time, been obsessed with Call of Duty 2 (possible the best online multiplayer game on par with Unreal Tournament), I've been addicted to Super Smash Flash on Newgrounds, downloaded Xfire, been playing games on my hacked iPod, and probably so much more. I hope to get more active with the community soon, and hope to visit the forums more and write more reviews.

Lastly, I need more friends since I'm kind of new. If anyone is reading this that isn't already my friend, please request me :) Hope to see you around

Hacked PSP

I finally managed to hack my PSP to a custom firmware so I can now run homebrew applications. So far, I have MAME4ALL which is an arcade emulator. For it, I have Pac-Man Plus, Pac n' Pal, and Lode Runner (which is EXTREMELY addicting).

I also have PSPGenesis for the genesis version of Mortal Kombat, since DGen couldn't run it and MAME4ALL couldn't run the arcade version.

Another emulator I got was Daedalus R13. This is an N64 emulator (the only one for it), and it's not that good. It can only run about 5 games at near full speed, and that's only with sound. About 20 other work almost full-speed but without sound, which I can't stand. So the only games I have for it are Bust-A-Move 2: Arcade Edition, Rampage: World Tour, and Rampage 2: Universal Tour. I used to have a lot others, but I deleted them all because they didn't run properly.

Finally, I downloaded 2 ISO's/CSO's. The first was Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play to play the arcade versions of the Mortal Kombat games. I also downloaded the demo for God of War: Chains of Olympus, which is the BEST game I've ever played for the PSP, and it's only a demo (lol). I can't wait until the full game comes out, and I'll buy it not download it. That's all for now, but I'll be getting more soon.

New Games...

Last week for my birthday I got a gift card to GameStop, so I picked up a few new games. First off, I got Conker: Live and Reloaded. I never got to play the N64 original, so this looks like a great game so far. That means I have to review this because my Xbox reviews are no longer complete lol.

I also bought Super Mario Bros. Deluxe for Game Boy Color. I used to have this game and was one of my favorites, but then I traded it in. What a stupid decision. So I re-bought it and it's bringing back so many memories. This is the best rehash of the original NES game and it actually looks decent on a small screen.

2 days after my birthday was the first night of Hannukah, so I got the two game I knew I was getting: Tony Hawk's Proving Ground (PS2) and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS). Proving Ground was a little disappointing, but it is still fun. On the other hand, Phantom Hourglass is now one of my favorite games and it's really addicting. I also hacked my PSP finally and got some homebrew stuff onto it, but I'll save that for another blog.

Hannukah Is Coming Up!

Hannukah is coming up, and I already know what I'm getting. First off, I already spent a ton of money on other big stuff during the last few months, so I'm not getting a lot of things for Hannukah because of that. But I do know two things I'm getting, mostly because I helped buy them but didn't get to open them yet (lol).

The first game I'm getting is Tony Hawk's Proving Ground for the PS2. I know the series is meant to be played on the next-gen systems now and that this version is supposed to be terrible compared to them, but I don't care. I'm a dedicated fan of the series and I like all of them, no matter what console they're on. I don't have any next-gen consoles, anyway, and I know that each version has exclsuive stuff to them (like the PS2 version of Project 8 has an extra level Downhill) so I don't care. I can't wait to play it.

The other game I'm getting is The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the DS. The Zelda series is my favorite series of games, so of course I can't miss out on this one. Plus, it got great reviews, it's portable, and it has Wi-Fi! I can't wait to play this game, either.
