Why is this thread still freaking going? It's like every eight pages the logical explanation of shipper = sold to retailers, not consumers, in the Big Three's mind is ignored and a whole cycle starts again...

Raise Taxes = Become more Evil

Lower Taxes = Become more Pure

walk around town, dance, show off trophies, play a lute, play with your dog, flirt with girls, get people drunk, don't work just get money from all the properties that you bought, have sex with your wife, give children gifts and autographs, Kill people that are in your way, kick chickens, kill bandits, become more popular, pose for statues, look for artifacts, kill more bandits, open random chests that are in the fields, rage war with other Countries or make peace with other Countries, Buy out towns, get richer, Marry other People, Divorce other People, work just for the heck of it, do deeds for other people....whatever.

Yeah that sums up what you're going to do when you become King.

All of that and Molyneaux will think he's created a gem. Then when you beat the game by just pressing X over and over, you realize what a joke he has become. I used to believe that guy on his every word. I learned better. Black and White 2 was so hyped and it stunk. Fable 2 had so much promise, didn't live up to his own hype. I'll be very surprised if Fable 3 delivers on half its promises.

It's embarrassing for Obsidian that almost all thier games ship with major problems. Alpha Protocol has major bugs, KOTOR 2 was buggy, New Vegas is just another in a long line of Obsidian bugfests. Fortunately, in this console generation, there's updates, but for someone who's not connected to the Web, it could be a real freakin' pain.

I actually remember growing up with a crappy PC and playing Command and Conquer on my Sega Saturn. It was pretty friggin' fun and at that time I could really care less about PC RTS versus console RTS. I imagine there's a decent market out there who wouldn't care either, they'd just want to play the game.

remember the N64? starcraft 64.... i mean what was the point. blizzard games just don't work on consoles, and it shouldn't. imagine diablo or starcraft on Xbox live, like the worst nightmare comes true.likeabrick
It was actually pretty good on N64...for console RTS standards in that age.

I've never understood the whining about changing discs. It's really not that hard to do. You hit the eject button, put in Disc 2 and continue to enjoy the game. I mean sure it's nice to have it on blu-ray and not change discs, but it's really such a minor issue that complaining about it makes you look like a gigantic fan boy. Maybe next generation it will be the standard to have games on one disc, but seriously, who cares?

I thought what Halo did best was bridge the good from Combat Evolved and 3 to make one hell of a send-off.

Loved the game, but to be honest if you asked me to recite the Halo story I'd just go blank. Humans kill Aliens who want to kill them. Yeah it's grander than that, but at the end of the day that's all it really boils down too. Fantastic game, but story was never a reason I enjoyed Halo.
