@chronogos: If you meant to say that it will not see much use you're sadly right. But if you meant to say that after having played a shooter with gyro aim you can return to aim with a stick (AKA it's as useless as pressure-sensitive buttons) then you're colossally wrong. Gyro aim ruined stick-aim shooters forever for me.
@chronogos: It doesn't seem it's going that way, adaptive triggers and haptic feedback are being used basically by every PS5 title, while gyro aim keeps being ignored, I'm sure that Sony is pushing third parties to make them use the new features, but I don't get why gyro is getting ignored, even in Astro! (it works but the tutorial doesn't even mention it: they want you to aim with the stick).
I'm not sure why Sony is doing this, maybe they did some agreement with Microsoft (since they don't have gyro aim in their controllers).
@chronogos: The only indispensable feature of the Dualsense is gyro aim, especially if you play shooters. Many Xbox franchises are shooters and their controllers don't have gyro aim, not even the 200 bucks elite, that's unforgivable.
Having said that, you're missing out by not having adaptive triggers, it's like having force feedback for your controller.
I had an elite (1) and I'm 100% sure that Microsoft is ripping you off, the build quality of the elite is not on par with Sony's first party controllers. But that's just my opinion.
@kizza_soze: What do you mean by waggle? Have you ever been to a shooting range? Do you waggle your gun in order to aim? I would like to see you shooting, that's quite the strange technique, where did you learnt it?
