YOU can find other pictures of them with more of a background if its what you need if its bugging you so much :)Go for it. good for you. they're still not impressive. its a trick developers use often and never has it been more prevalent than here. great character models (not the best) crud backgrounds in a linear environment. not impressive. not to mention they look as good as the character models from the CM8 a mod over a year old for a game and engine that's over 5 years old now.
your awesome! i see a nice trip to Wikipedia did good for youum backgrounds duh.. lolWow how does it contend with rendering pitch black nothing along with those faces:shock: idk, if i was one of the devs i would tell you. i can only guess like only you can.. mabey they are in dark places and such. heavy rain looks good, but pc will always have games that look better, just because they can update there hardware.

[QUOTE="subrosian"][QUOTE="Brownesque"] Can you imagine how many servers would spring up, overnight, for a game like Gears2 or COD4 if only they let users host them?BrownesqueIt would be awesome - but until Microsoft does that (and frankly I don't see it happening for a number of reasons) Sony has the advantage in that area of the console world. Hehe, I'm afraid Sony doesn't have any advantage in that area of the console war, because they're the one's footing the bill while MS is laughing all the way to the bank. The point is that Microsoft can both charge and have dedicated servers....best of both worlds. Obviously, consumers win in that area on PS3 and lose in that area on Xbox 360. I'm curious, though. What reasons do you see for Microsoft not allowing users to host their own dedicated servers on, say, first party games?
sony only hosts the games it publishes, it leaves it up to the people who make/publish the game to host its online servers. this is how they are able to do it at no charge to us, while also giving us more players in a online match... so its a win/lose situation for both sides......
the 360 controller just feels way to wierd in my hands and takes me awhile to adjust to it. i prefer the DS3 controller
