maybe for the fact that XBL has been around ALOT longer then PSN has?Do SONY Fanboys always get so excited and happy when they get an addon to their online service that live users has always have. Unless I am mistaken I haven't seen any service coming from PSN to LIVE. When Xbox fanboys say live is better, is it true because Microsoft has not had to implement a service that PSN has and add it to live?
I don't think Twitter and Facebook counts because those came with the internet browser.

last time sony released numbers for the psn they had surpassed the xbl community, so what you just said is pointless.... Game, set, match. check-mate. Game over. end of story.[QUOTE="guardofdead"][QUOTE="tempest91"]
I'm just wondering when PSN will get the feature where their fanboys won't run their mouth all the time about how good their lackluster service is.Obviously it's not that good if your population is so much lower than a paid service and it's free. People would play online in large numbers if it was good and they don't. Game, set, match. Check-mate. Game Over. End of story.
PS. People don't feel obligated to play on Xbox live because they pay for it.They feel obligated to pay for it because they want to play.

That was including PSP users and internet accounts, not games/matches played. Nice try though. UC2 has sold over 800,000 copies sold and has 9-10k online.
the way you brought it across in you post made it seem like you said that the psn was smaller in population. which is is not, and that is what i said. now you bring up another side of it to make yourself seem like the victor. nowhere in your previous post did you mention GAME population, but you did mention SERVICE.. nice try thoughlast time sony released numbers for the psn they had surpassed the xbl community, so what you just said is pointless.... being 6'4", i have much larger hands than say your average midget or average person and the dualshock 3 is fine in terms of size... i see no problem with its triggers or anything else with it. neither do i have a problem with the 360 controller. so its merely your opinion that the 360 controller is "better for shooters (and everything else)"I have both a PS3 and 360, and the controller is just better for shooters (and everything else) on the 360. Unless you have hands the size of an average midget, the PS3 controller is to small.

[QUOTE="Midnightshade29"]wow... maybe xbox gamers buy so much 3rd party becasue microsoft doesn't have a first party? nah couldn't be that.. And his exclusive for the hard drive and accessory prices were downright laughable... Now I know where hardcore Lemmings get their arguements from They sound exactly like the M$ PR rep..commenting on sales and attach rates lolPSdual_wielder
your logic is flawed...again....even without first party or with it 360 often still outsells the 3rd party of both competitors in 2009 with a weak 1st party they managed the same thing. Come back when a ps3 controller isn't the same as a 360, come back when a headset isn't about the same price, come back when an hdmi cable and usb cable aren't the same price. Till that time your precious sony is milking you just as much but not on a wider range of things.
What? :?
I think you're a little teeny tiny bit...mad. ;)
ya i read this and started to wander if he actualy thought this post through.
[QUOTE="scottiescott238"]
Every time there is a comparison between 360 and ps3 games, somebody always brings up, well its on pc so it doesnt count?
where is the logic in this?
In a comparison between the two this doesnt make sense.
If i were to go in to a shop to buy either a ps3 or a 360, i will notice that Gears of war, left 4 dead, mass effect are availible on the 360 and not the ps3.
If i had only a ps3 i would not be able to play these games, just as my 360 will not play Uncharted 2, and MGS4.
I spent about £600 this year upgrading my pc to play such games as crysis on max settings, and there is not one person i know who would spend that much on a PC to play a handful of games.
So these same people who claim to have teh massivez spes pc and a ps3, and spent a load of money upgrading thier pc to play these 360/ pc games, does it not make more sense to spend that money on a 360? especially when this year only two gameshave come out on the pc that are worth upgrading for, ( empire total war , arma 2 )
But then i do suspect most Sony fanboys say they have a high spec pc as damage control.
your thoughts

no it just called the cows are being cows. since the 360 has a ton of great games that come out on the pc/360. that try to pull that crap.
its really just a lame excuse. to try to make it look like the ps3 has more ps3 only games and better game than the 360.
hurray, we have the generic posting of the day. tomorrow we will have which fanboy post will contain the most animal references!ok, clearly ms assesories do not justify thier high price, just by saying you check them better than everyone else.. which is complete garbo... no need for the hdd prices to be so high compaired to other hdds...
then the games look better? 3rd party ok ill give you that, but first party? microsoft really... you guys get slapped by sony in that department.... sony's first party games clearly look better don't kid yourself by saying your games look better. get off your 3rd party high horse and get a decend first party gaming studio.. thats if you can keep them you first party studio without them splitting off from you....
but seriously $100 bucks for a wireless adapter? get real.... $150 for a decent sized HDD, even though i can get one almost 3 times as big for the same price, but you justify that by saying its tested better.... wheres my kiss ms, i usually get a kiss before im f**ked.....
haha, sorry about that rant if any of you read that... woot
[QUOTE="GreyFoXX4"]So you telling me firing with a trigger on the 360 controller then lifting your finger up and over the hump to toss a grenade feels comfortable? You also telling me that when pushing forward on your stick to move your character and then to pull your thumb back to use your d pad feels comfortable or natural? On the ps3 controller you just slide your finger down to R2 or L2 to toss a grenade and you just slide your thumb off of the L3 stick to the dpad to make a adjustment. SteezyZWhy would you lift your finger to go from the trigger to the shoulder button? Your middle finger should rest on the trigger, with your index (pointing) finger resting on the shoulder. Not only it that more efficient, but it's actually comfortable with a 360 controller. What FPS games use the DPad for movement/aim adjusting? I haven't played one on the 360... I think both controllers have their place, and I think that some games are best played on one over the other. If there's one design that should be destroyed, it's the PSP...I only buy games that don't require the nub nowadays. the D-PAD on the 360 controller BLOWS, its completely inaccurate when selecting things that games assign to it. also i like the thumbsticks to be uniform such as the dualshock controllers have. the thumbsticks are my only complaint when i play the 360 and that the shape is a bit ackward ( but thats just cause i have been playing with a ps controller since the launch of the ps1) also i agreed the lack of dual numbs ( lol) on the psp make it where i wont get one
well then why did the ps2 sell so much if this "broken controller" was a problem. the ps3 controller is fine, plus all of which you said is purely opinion.IT is So hard to enjoy the great 1st party titles with such a flawed Controller. I stopped playing K2 for this simple issue. Uncharted 2 is a awesome game and currently enjoying it, but it would be so much better if the controller was actually comfortable and more made for shooters. Anyone who has played gears of war/halo or owns a 360 will agree.
All this Cell and blruay HD talk, yet sony can't redesign its controller..a controller used since PS1.
And don't give me the "if it ain't broke don't fix it"....thing is, it is BROKEN!
I've tried a few 3rd party controllers..but nothing as good as the 360's. Wonder when we will be able use the 360 controller on the PS3 via USB with some patch, etc..would be nice.
