as long as the game is good in my eyes i dont care about anything to do with sales...

"Our dedication and team effort finally pays off!"
April 15, 2009
REDMOND, WA - Excitement is in the air at Microsoft as the technology giant's famed Xbox 360 gaming console approaches another milestone. By 11:59PM today, the company predicts to achieve its billionth product failure, shattering Ford Motor Company's long standing record, and ensuring a spot in annals of history.
Shane Kim, Microsoft Game Studios Vice President, rejoices; "Our dedication and team effort finally pays off!" His audience; a large, vital group of customer service agents, are gathered closely around the VP in the dreary, dark, dank Flextronics call center that handles all of Xbox 360 customer complaints. Continuing his inspirational speech to the teary-eyed bunch, he laments that "No one believed our young team could match Ford's historical line up, but tonight we take home the trophy and relish in the fact that our failure is unmatched. We are champions!"
Michael Delman, Microsoft's Vice President of Global Marketing, was also in attendance and took a couple minutes to discuss this momentous occasion with Forge News. He commented that "It is truly amazing that the Xbox 360 has been able to achieve this in less than four years." The Xbox 360 was released in the fall of 2005 and immediately began its race to this point with a product failure rate many experts (Forge News included) predicted to be around 3300%. Delman continued his praises by noting "...they [Ford Motor Company] have had a legacy line up of products. In the 70's they had Pinto, who was just an explosive player that significantly padded their stats. But we caught up." The VP continued, "Then the 90's began the era of 'Flippy' Explorer and Ford was sent into the stratosphere. But now we're higher."
Now all we need to do is endorse cheap 'Lite' piss water.
It is not exactly understood how Microsoft achieved one billion product failures with only an estimated 30 million units sold to consumers. A spokesperson for the Corporate Competition Committee has vowed to look into the perceived discrepancy. The prevailing theory is that Ford Motor Company just did not have an answer to Microsoft's two-pronged attack. "Microsoft played it smart by first unleashing the innovative "Red Ring of Death" play and then phasing in the more balanced and sinister E74 strategy. There really weren't many options for Ford at that point--they were pinned down and no amount of bailout money could help them [Ford Motor Company] out of the deficit" opined the CCC spokesperson.
The CCC has confirmed to Forge News that Microsoft will not receive certification for this record until their investigation is complete. But this does not have Team Xbox 360 scared as they continue to answer the constant barrage of costumer complaint calls originating from young Halo-tots to the likes of esteemed dictator Cobra Commander. "I never imagined that this could happen. I mean...Ford had Pinto, which was known for exploding on contact...I wondered how we could match that...but when reports came in that the 360 was burning down houses, I knew that the championship was in reach," commented one team member. However, looking to the future, he continued, "Now that we are a record setting organization, the onus is on us to continue playing as champions and we promise to keep delivering the failure."

haha, i read this an thought it was pretty funny, hope you guys like,
also, i searched for something similar but couldnt find anything so im posting it and ANY posts saying such will be ignored..
don't get your hopes up I personally doubt MGS4 could be done on 360 and if it could it would need like 4 or 5 dvds and Kojimawon't make this game for 360 there no chance maybe a new ip.Not if you remove all the localization data and the uncompressed audio. Oh, lets not forget about all the redundant data. :) i have been hearing this "repeating data " taking up all the space for mgs4, im lost.... can you enlighten me with what you are saying????? i know uncompressed audio takes up some space but not that much[QUOTE="mgsfan1189"]

Maybe the 3rd party ones like MGS4 and Heavy Rain :P

sony hasnt lost a exclusive that has launched on the ps3 first.. its always been before the launch, so i dont get what your saying "when it goes mutiplat".... imma go ahead and assume that you mean before launch[QUOTE="guardofdead"][QUOTE="PAL360"]
Yeah.....all the time an exclusive comes to the PS3 its "only possible on the PS3 because the power of the cell"! For some reason when it goes multiplat it looks better on the "weak" 360. Magic :o
PAL360
Sorry but whats the diference between loosing an exclusive after or before launch? Assassins Creed, Devil May Cry, Tekken 6, FFXIII.....Anyway you are right. All before launch which is a win for 360 owners i gess!
the difference is if its before launch then they have been developed at the same time, or made on one consoul then ported the the other (most common, also the multis that look better on the 360, are made for the 360 first, then ported to the ps3... if its made for the ps3 first then ported to the 360, it looks better all around and there is little to no difference..).... after launch it can be further refined, adding or upgrading details or if your EA you just slap a ps3 sticker on the box and call it good... and those games your listed were multi before the launches, now there are far more 360 exclusives that when to the ps3 before and after their luanches... but it dosent matter, i was just stating the ps3 hasnt lost a exlusive after it has released.[QUOTE="PAL360"][QUOTE="lancer_87"]
Whats the point here ? The 360 couldnt even handle 10 players in Gears of War 2.
lancer_87
Right
please explain ? geow2 is laggy and glitchy as all hell.... plus i live cant do more than like 16 players... and the psn does 60 with no lag ( and occasional minor lag) and now 265 players, knowing zipper, it will also have no lag, i cant see live being able to handle that.. now, if you can prove me wrong ill be glad to change my words....sony hasnt lost a exclusive that has launched on the ps3 first.. its always been before the launch, so i dont get what your saying "when it goes mutiplat".... imma go ahead and assume that you mean before launchYeah.....all the time an exclusive comes to the PS3 its "only possible on the PS3 because the power of the cell"! For some reason when it goes multiplat it looks better on the "weak" 360. Magic :o

Not really, just like MGS4,LBP,KZ2,Uncharted weren't,admit it PS3 flagship titles cant do anything to make the Xbox 360"fall"MachoBuzzzya year lead in sales is the ONLY reason the 360 is ahead, and you know it...
no,no,no,no i said it wont touch the 160million the ps2 has sold... no chance... and there are signs of the wiis demand is falling, and rapidly, so my "predictions" arnt in serious jepordy as you may think.. Actually Wii sales are currently at its highest point ever in the biggest market NA and worldwide. Sales are only down in Japan and with Wii Sports Resort, Dragon Quest 10, and Monster Hunter 3 coming I expect it to be back with a vegence in Japan inthe nextfew months. ;) LMFAO is all i can say... i guess those games are better that the TONS of shovel ware the receives... but the wii wont see 150mill, the ds mabey, the wii no..[QUOTE="guardofdead"][QUOTE="TheNextOrder"]TheNextOrder
here is my predictions, the wii wont touch the ps2 in sales.... (witch incase you didnt realize is a sony product, just putting that out there) and also, killzone 2 sales flop, currently sitting at 1.39 m without america and japan sales figures in, i dont recognize that as a "flop" Wii is selling twice as fast as the PS2 so your first prediction is already in serious jeapordy. no,no,no,no i said it wont touch the 160million the ps2 has sold... no chance... and there are signs of the wiis demand is falling, and rapidly, so my "predictions" arnt in serious jepordy as you may think..[QUOTE="guardofdead"][QUOTE="TheNextOrder"]
Here are mine:
Wii outselling (crushing) 360 and/or PS3 by between 350 -500 k even though many here dream about the PS3 making a comeback.
and PS3 being in dead last despite the fact that its the first month its biggest budget exclusive KZ2 has been available for a full month (only 2 days in Feb)
I also predict that KZ2 will be a sales flop and not even break 400k in the March NPD
