true but live on windows is FREE to play so if you own a ps3 and a pc there is no need to own a 360. but if you own a 360 and pc your missing out on ps3 exclusives. and we include all systems because this is system wars not console wars and if its multi is not exclusive.....Taking a look at arguments, people usually when a game is on 360 and not on PS3 they usually say I can play it on my PC so it does not count as exclusive. But then PS3 fanboys say HA ha we got Final Fantasy 14 and it is exclusive and 360 gamers can not play it, so they just contradict themselves. Also be aware that PS3 fanboys are playing on "Microsoft" Windows... so yeah. Why even include PC in a argument?

It is such an empty number anyway. From playing the beta, it never really felt like you were involved in some grand scale conflict like it did in Battlefield on the PC. While you could roam around, I never saw more than 6 players on screen at once. Maybe 10 if I got lucky. It felt far more compartmentalized.Vandalvideohmm, ussually you see your squad going to a objective and then the enimy squad thats against you going to the same abjective. in the beta i saw more than 50 people on my screen when multiple squads crossed paths. it was quite a sight
That's all very interesting but ultimately meaningless to the gamer. As a gamer, I see that GT4 and Forza came out at roughly the same time, 2005. And that Turn 10 have produced two fantastic sequels since then while Gran Turismo fans have yet to see one.locopathowell since you say gt4 came out at the same time as forza, and then turn 10 released forza 2 and 3 after. this should mean somthing right? but PD has sold 14 million copies of GT4 while forza series hasn't come close. rushing a game to change a little bit as a time is wastefull. turn 10 should have spent a ton more time on the forza series and it would have been 10 times as better.
edit:: sorry GT4 has only sold 10 mill GT3 is the one that sold 14 mill,
someone PLEASE fill me in on why the psn is a terrible online experience. i have asked this numerous times and no one can give me a good reason. i have no problems with either xbl or psn. they are exactly the same. it must be because my internet connection is good. Why dont they concentrate on sorting out their servers and online gaming features, i would gladly pay to have the same experience as i have on my xbox 360 online, and it might sway me more to buy multiplates on the ps3 god damn it frustrates me as i much prefer the ps3 as my first console of choice but not when the online experience is as it is :(

http://kotaku.com/5429592/sony-survey-says-premium-playstation-network-subscriptions-under-consideration
Found this on Kotaku, This survey shows some of the possible routes Sony might go with their Premium PSN Subscriptions, this may or may not please those gunning for cross-game voice chat:
Thoughts? As long as all the features currently on PSN remain free (and cross-game chat becomes part of the free service, i don't have much of a problem with it, seems a bit expensive though.

if its going to be $70 it better come with everything on that list. if it does and they lower it to $50 ill take part in it. but if i want to opt out for a few months i can still play online too, thats what i like about it!
you will not have to pay to play online for the psn, sony uses it for a stand point ... they said that they would be makeing a premium service at a charge, but keep the online free..Sorry if this is a common post.
I cant decide what system to get it on! [PRE ORDER]
I played Bad Company 1 on PS3 because multiplayer was for free, the game was mobs of fun.
It seems Battlefield is a native PC game but I dont know if this version is made primarily for consoles or PC.
Also 360 version looks better than PS3 apparently but you pay for live, even though soon enough you will for PS3 too when they introduce it.
Im leaning on PC, but im very wary after the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 I bought.
Your help is GREATLY appreciated.

Gran Turismo 5 sales will no doubt be huge. But anyone thinking it's going to sell 10 million+ or something is crazy. Someone show them the way to the hosital, quick! :?

lol, no competition? riiiight did you just start gaming when you pick up ur 360 2 yrs ago? there has always been huge competition in the racing genreGran turismo never really had any true compatition before hand did it. Now we have loads of racing games out and to the general mass public FORZA3 has got everything they want. To predict GT5 will be a sales bohemoth is a bit stupid. I think it will do well but I would not be supprised if it failed to live up to expectations of the game and its size of popularity as well.

Most fanboys are going to yell at me, without even reading this post.
Nintendo DS: 1.70M
Wii: 1.26M
Xbox 360: 819.5K
PlayStation 3: 710.4K
PSP: 293.9K
PlayStation 2: 203.1KThis is how Sony sold more than Microsoft:
Playstation 3 (710.4k) + Play Station 2 (203.1k) + PSP (293.9k) = 1207.4 k; which is approx 1.2 M
Microsoft on the other hand had the Xbox 360 which only sold 819.5k
Now you see why Sony outsold Microsoft.
Thanks to those who actually took time to read, unlike those who just flammed me without reading.

Microsoft has outsold Sony. By 5-6 million consoles. I'm not talking last gen or handhelds.
last gen or not its STILL SELLING. so we must, and at at times it out sold the 360. so once again we must. if you want to talk about sales of a company you talk about all its systems its selling currently. if you want to talk about certain systems. then do that. but he is saying sony out sold ms. also sony still win with about 220 millions units sold to ms 35 mill or so to nintendo it has sold 165 mill or so.and people said the glossy black ps3 was a finger print magnit. this is going to be 15x worse lol. altho it looks frickin sweetDang it looks nice doesnt it... but it costs $5,000 :o

many things wrong with that. the controllers are not "glued shut" and you can buy a replacement battery if yours happens to to not charge anymore 4yrs down the line. i have 4 controllers for my ps3 not one problem with battery life nor do i have to throw it away because it doesn't charge anymore. i simply open the controller and take out the battery and take it to a battery store for a replacement, i dont forsee my controllers needing a battery replacement for about 2 more years at least
