@urbanman2004: We don't know exactly what is what yet. I think AMD will have the better cards in just about all the segments except for the enthusiast TI card.

@clay544888: I never said it was faster than a TI but if you can get a card for 500 dollars that is faster than the 1080 by 10%, Thats a better deal than a 1080. So basically AMD would own the low end market the mid market and the high end market. The only card that they can't compete with is the ultra expensive GTX 1080 TI which will run you about 800 dollars. Well thats what I think is going to happen. I still need to see more benchmarks.

@dudebropartyyo: Honestly no one should ever buy an Intel CPU again. They are the one of the shadiest corps ever and should have several top executives in prison. I currently have a 4790K but my next build is all AMD... well as far CPU and Mobo goes.

rX Vega 56 is beating down the GTX 1070 in early benchmarks. I think people are jumping to conclusions. If those new leaked Bench marks are correct the RX Vega 64 will be significantly faster than a GTX 1080. Also rememeber AMD's hardware is better at DX12 than Nvidia, we should start to see more DX12 games over the next 2-3 years.

I went to green team this time because the GTX 1080 was such a great card, but if I was going to buy a card now I would definitely get a Vega 56 or maybe a Vega 64. I would just wait for AIB partners to make better coolers.

@Vividnightmare: AMD has done fantastic with Ryzen, Threadripper and Epyc. Intel is shitting there pants right now. However AMD really needs to tweak there GPU a bit.. to much power and not enough performance. Everyone knows that AMD's GPU should be superior to Nvidia's but they are getting bottlenecked somewhere. Maybe after AMD collects on some Ryzen stuff they can invest more R@D into the Radeon division.

Guys Benchmarks are not out yet officially. Something is fishy, I am hearing all kinds of BS about which cards were used to benchmark vs the GTX 1080 some say its the air cooled variant. Others are saying its the WC'ed variant. Lets cross our fingers and hope the WC edition beats the GTX 1080.. or competition is lost. My guess is air cooled will be about equal to a minor over clocked 1080 and the WC will beat the 1080 by 10%.

@EliOli: Not in DX12 though. I do like the GTX 1080 its a great card but AMD should have a big DX12 advantage.

@readysalted: I thought everyone was getting the patches even if you only own a Xbox One or One S. It was making the rounds on youtube a few weeks ago. But maybe I misunderstood.
