For this being my first "MLB The Show" experience having an Xbox1, I think it deserves a bit better than a 7. To me the game is incredible having never owned/played it before and always envying PS4 owners. It's a pretty damned solid and deep game that I would put in the 8-9 rank category personally.
I get it if this review is based off of PS5 only and a reviewer who has played all the previous versions but still, if you own an Xbox, the game is pretty amazing.
Wasn't Kingdom of the Crystal Skull a failure enough to realize it was time for the franchise to die? Just watch Lebouf swinging through the jungle like Tarzan during a CGI chase scene in that movie to see why.
"Will Defend Itself", what would you expect a company to do when it gets sued? "Looks like we're done folks, pack up". I guess there is the possibility that the headline could have read, "Class Action Lawsuit Is Happening, CDPR Will NOT Defend Itself".
What an empty, pointless "review" by a SJW. I'd say half this article is a convoluted look into subjective opinions about what offended the reviewer regarding culture and stereotypes. We want to know about the overall substance or "feel" of the game as to what you can do and the game's functionality, not about what you find to be offensive stereotypes. "...all you're left with is the unpleasantness"; Good God that sounds like depression written all over it. Maybe avoid any reviews in the near future. And I don't know about you, but hearing "one ad that's just a man making a long, exaggerated orgasm sound" sounds like some funny sh*t, put it on repeat please.
Why did gamespot even bother posting a review for this? There's probably over 10,000 indie games on Steam out there where half of them are worth a damn for a better review/rating than this.
