Do you mean like a 7950 GX2?firefly026
Well, it should be something like sli, but better support and I don't think sli or gx2 work like I said at my first post, not sure.
I'm serious, they came out w/ quad-core cpus, its about time. Let me show you how I would see it work.
Lets take an dual-core version for an 8800gtx would work:
Here's the Basics:
Core 1:
(Specs)
Core: 575MHz
Shader: 1350MHz
Memory: 900MHz at 768mb w/ 384-bit interface (Bandwitdh: 86.4GB/s)
Texture Fill Rate: 36.8 billion per second
Priority (not in order):
Render Meshes (Models, Terrian,etc.):
Render Materials;
Render Textures;
Core 2:
Core: 575MHz
Shader: 1350MHz
Memory: 900MHz at 768mb w/ 384-bit interface (Bandwitdh: 86.4GB/s)
Texture Fill Rate: 36.8 billion per second
Priority (not in order):
Render Shaders;
Render Post - Processing;
Render Physics;
There's probably a million things wrong about this; so its up top you to reply to this thread:D
Cause, it would be great to have high-end, current gen gfx cards, and hopefully make the notebooks with the 7900's way cheaper
(like $1500 at least?), and the 8600's to go down to $1100 at least?
Jack Thompson will fix this!

first off, the kid is a PHSYCO!! He killed somebody over a "video game":? That kid should be put in an asylum (which they will). I really fell bad for the 16yr old.
What's even worse is that this jacko above me (the guy w/ the chainsaw:lol:) is going to use this tragic story and blame it on video games:cry:
If you've tried almost everything, and still having problems, then the drive could be the faulty - but how old is the laptop anyways?TicTac8745
i bought it Jan of 2006
[QUOTE="half-pat92"][QUOTE="HowardB"]Is the computer not recognizing a disc in the drive or just not automatically opening / running the disc?HowardB
how do you manually run a disc?
Just go to "My Computer" and either double click on the disc drive or right click on the drive and select "Open" or "Explore."
still nothing
