Jaffe should be happy that Miyamoto is japanese and won't just destroy him.
Pwnage is looking at Miyamoto's net worth compared to Jaffe's.
Pwnage is comparing Miyamoto's track record to Jaffe's.
Pwnage is comparing Miyamoto's impact on the industry to Jaffe's.
These are businessmen and you should compare them on business terms. If they were regular people, snapping of a quick one-liner might count. But when you compare them in terms of video games, its clear one of them is getting pwned. It would be awesome, but sadly Miyamoto will likely let this slide.
If he was an american though... I can imagine something long the lines of this:
"This is like the 4th string benchwarmer booing Jordan. Mario 1 has sold more copies than Jaffe's entire catalog... combined and then multiplied by 3. This is like a grown fighting an ant. How do I do that without crushing the ant in one move? I think we should go back to what we each do best... he makes games that are hot for a few months... I create new genres, set sales records, maintain sales records, and revolutionize the industry... for over 20 years straight now. But i'm not a bully. I have compssion. I don't get off on picking on the weak, so I have no comments about the Jaffe remarks. Perhaps in a few decades when Jaffe owns his own billion dollar company, we can sit and discuss these things. Perhaps then I will respond the way I would respond my own child who has slipped his and has forgotten the role of the father and that of the child. Until that day, I have no comments on the Jaffe situation."
