I'm just kind of sick of buying games and being bored with them pretty quick and watching them collect dust. Is fable 2 really that good? I got fable 2 because oblivion while massive bored the hell out of me after a while and i tend to think fallout 3 will do the same. Maybe its just single players games because the last game that i really loved is probably wow. I dont know if i should just stop buying games and wait for diablo iii and starcraft 2 or what. I mean all these games get great reviews. i bought gta iv. It was cool for a while but i got bored with it. same with halo 3, gears etc.. mass effect etc. im glad i played them but imo they werent that engrossing.

The whole reason i decided on fable 2 is because it seemed somewhat different. Banjo looks cool too. But i played it for an hour and wasnt all that impressed. Should i really give it more time?

Well since you've already bought it then you might as well give it more time. And as we've practically said - the games DOES get better as you progress :)

Fable 2 is a game that picks up after a few hours. Invest more time in it and then you'll see why its universally praised (thats if you can avoid the game-breaking glitches)

That'd be cool. What about a World War I Call of Duty?Zach68486

Because a WWI FPS game will see you do nothing but fire artillery from a trench over and over again, and at times undergo suicide charges at the enemy trench (With a rifle that takes 5 minutes to load after each shot) which will inevitably end in failure.

The only accurate WWI game you can make is a survival sim, where your soldier has to try and endure the atrocious trent conditions, scrap every piece of food possible, avoid the artillery shells while going for your toilet break, and try not to get trench foot.

I seriously doubt that an xbox 360 is the primary culprit, its just the cretinous media again trying to blame video games as the source of all social and criminal problems.

Its like saying why arent there many WWI games - some wars just dont suit video games.

Yes, you can argue that battlefield did a decent job of 'nam, and some may even argue that vietcong was a good game, but do you really think itll suit the "Call of duty" genre as I like to call it? The emphasis in COD games is on large, spearheaded dramatic battles as opposed to stealthy, dirty warefare - which is what essentially vietnam was.

To be honest it is all luck mostly, sometimes regardless on how well you look after your 360. One of my friends literally keeps his 360 next to a radiator and hasnt had any problems for the 2 years hes owned it, though another one of my friends who's generally looked after it very well, had the RROD after barely a month.

Not much you can do about im afraid, just make sure you always have an active warranty for at least the RROD...which reminds me I really should renew mine soon...my console really is acting up now.

Forgive me if this sounds obvious, but have you tried testing other games on your 360? The problem could very well be your console and not the game itself.

Well its going through a closed beta, so we're still not that close yet. Projects going through an open beta is the indication that they'll be released soon,

I just get a kick out of taking friends onto a Helicopter, landing on a tall skyscraper and pushing them off the edge.
