This is a bit of a trap, as you give up the 2 hr steam refund protection and MK games are historically terrible PC ports on launch. The only way I'd consider this is if I see the PC premium edition buyers streaming the game and reviewing it as not busted.
I'm kind of glad they are continuing with the industry trend of the early launch greed edition, because if the PC port is trash (which historically it usually is), it will give people buying the basic edition more time to cancel their preorder on sites like fanatical before keys get delivered (its not listed there yet, but WB is partnered with fanatical, so I'm assuming it will show up there).
Everything else looks good except we need more info on the krystals currency and the kameo system.
Holy forking shirt balls. what a load of crap, in particular this line:
"The main benefit quality gaming chairs have over many regular office chairs is their ergonomic design, particularly lumbar and head/neck support."
never and I repeat never buy a gaming chair, they are a scam made in the same Chinese factories just rebranded based on what company is buying. I regrettably own a dx racer and its sitting in my closet until I can sell it because it gives me back pain. I now use a cheap 80$ office chair and most of my back problems have gone away. I'm saving up until I can afford a herman miller or something similar that will actually be worth the cost.
gamespot is just promoting junk because the links provided give them a cut of the sale (as disclosed at the bottom of the article)
It wouldn't surprise me if this "individual" is someone on their team or associated with this scam. All they are doing is using this game is get attention while promoting their other products.
I'm surprised this is the only coverage this product is getting on gamespot, but some things were left out like the recent drama surrounding it. The majority of the MTG community hates this product, so much so that wotc had to reach out to yugioh and pokemon content creators to do a pack opening and promote it, most of them declined but at least one accepted; then pulled his video off youtube and issued an apology from the backlash.
I watched a stream of the sale going live, barely a que to purchase and the site never went down, indicating low demand. after 33-35 minutes the product page change to "sold out" however the tweet from wizards used the wording the sale had "concluded" instead of sold out. People are speculating they pulled the product rather than suffer the embarrassment of a prolonged sale.
As someone who regrettably owns a dxracer, don't bother with these chairs. The core design all come from the same maker and are reskinned based on client/brand. Its nice they included some unique features for the arm rests but that is not the main issue. Its that these are terrible for your back when used for long sessions (4+ hrs).
