The mw2 teaser was more about hype, what was show in the teaser didnt blow me away. I think it would have been better to compare one of the reveal trailers of mw2 to this mw3 equivalent. Then yes i do agree im not blow away by the mw3 version because im not seeing any major improvement to the engine or storyline. parts of the trailer like the boat scene seem copy pasted from mw2. But most of all, everyone that watches this trailer knows in the back of there mind that infinityward doesnt have the same crew as before (and all the drama about that), and so we are reluctant to get excited for a new team that has yet to proove they can make a worthy cod sequel.

Ive never bought a used game because ive seen what used games look like back when i rented from blockbuster:scratched up etc. granted this is not the case 100% of the time, but i dislike buying software/hardware that has been used by someone else. Its become quite common for humans to get what they want as cheap as possible, to the point that they dont pay anything in some cases. theres nothing wrong with a good deal, but its silly to expect full content when your paying less.what i own i own flat out, with hard earned money; which i take some pride in.I dont own alot of games, im not rich, so i buy based on reviews and research to make sure the games i buy are good and i will play them enough to get my moneys worth.I buy 3-5 great games a year.Id imagine the used game buyer averages about 10-20+ games a year and likes to sample all kinds of games but isnt very satisfied with a good % of the titles they buy per yr.I think its a terrible deathtrap mentality to burn through game after game by trading and selling because you lose appreciation for them individually, you are just on to the next best title over & over.Your gonna love 3-4 games a yr that really stand out and you play alot, but the rest will all be forgotten. Its not wrong for developers to seek lost game sales by limiting some content available to used buyers. Why should i be the sucker who buys everything new, while you get to enjoy the same product, 100% of the content..... cheaper? How is it fair for the "new" buyer?

We dont think its just Australia, but Gamespot reports on Aussie banned games the most and its because you have an Aussie branch, which regularly reports when a game is banned or edited. You've created this "its only Aussie" stereotype yourselves. If more articles were written about china and Germany, etc. and how the most popular new release is banned there, then you would see the same type of comments of freedom and sympathetic support to those nations citizens for what they are being denied. Sure censorship is a complex issue, but it is about freedom and rights, sure there is more to it, but its not naive for the masses to rally behind the simplified argument if said argument is true.

is it just me or does the atv, tank, and warthog look worse in reach as opposed to halo 3? look at the tank's barrel, warthogs and atv tires/frame, all 3 look like fake game vehicles, while the halo 3 ones look like they could be real.

DRM is a bad solution to an unsolveable practice...piracy. All it does is slow down the pirates from cracking the game, and sometimes they can crack it so fast its out almost as fast as the product hits the shelves. I dont mind online activations like steam etc, what i dont like is having traces of DRM left on my HD even after ive completely removed the game, thats bull. Especially when it can cause problems on your sys or reduce performance. With these negative side effect, average consumers are running to the pirates for games. DRM makes the pirate a hero who will provide you a DRM free game, and not only that.... its free. yes thats right free. Good job DRM, you failed completely to stop the soul threat which you were created to counter. I myself have never bought/downloaded an illegal copy of a game, ever, and i never will. I understand the industry, the hard work involved, etc. (When i buy a game i do research first and make sure im gonna like it, and that ill play it for a long time; i dont try out games and then move on to the next crappy game.) But i understand why other people do aquire pirated copies, even though i think its still wrong. The game companies fired a shot over you heads, and your returning the favor with vengance. I just hope the game companies get the message to stop applying "harmful" DRM to their games and the consumers will slowly trust them again, and things will return to normal. Piracy will still exist, but it wont have such a big audience anymore. Take "Sins of a solar empire" and its micro expansion "entrenchement," no DRM and its a fantastic game that sold really well and wasnt pirated much because they choose not to fight piracy with DRM, so piracy left them alone. Companies that apply DRM to their games are basically baiting pirates to crack their games. I like the Persia Expierement, eliminate DRM and see if piracy and sales increase or decrease, you'll probably be surprised at how much better it all turns out.

Great. Fine. If its proven after launch to be better than my trusty old windows XP; I'll upgrade. My only question is game compatibility..... Shifting to another OS so fast means alot of games just lost their compatibility, and how long until new games are released to include windows 7?

i have a MX500 logitech mouse, works fine, and it was cheap, less than 25 dollars i think. Although it is getting worn out, had it for about 1 1/2 yrs. these mouses are mostly all flash, you can get a cheap mouse to play games and still win.

I dont understand some of the pipeling info, but the rest was good. I own a nividia geforce pci express 6800 gt graphics card. works great with games like battlefield 2, act of war direct action, etc. I wont upgrade to windows vista due to the fact all my great games would be non-compatable (at least i wont upgrade for a few years till most games are commonly made for vista, and by then i'll be sick of my old games anyway). informative article!
