I think they feel the heat from that juicy 12,1tflop Xbone2.0 is getting. I'm so gonna laugh at Sony if their whole stream is focused on fast laoding because they know their cpu/gpu is far behind MS's. can't wait.
@rmoxon: Wow 1 new mechanic that could've been added in an expansion = sequel worthy. They recycled so much stuff in this game, that EVEN enemies animation is the same lol. I have never seen a sequel where enemies animations stayed the same.
@hardwenzen: the content is gated behind a high difficulty curve. Generally, it is important for me to finish a game before moving on as I feel like I’ve wasted money otherwise, and I care to see the narrative through to the end. Time to beat a game shouldn’t be confused as extra content. I’ve played games that clock in at 15-25 hours to beat that are more content rich than games that took me 35-40 hours to beat as it moved at a quicker pace and was much more focused. That said, I don’t expect developers to accommodate me, anymore than they expect everyone to play and enjoy their game just because it exists. Doesn’t mean I don’t wish them well or hope the game tanks because I don’t have time to play
The narrative in Nioh does not exist. In Doom, there's more story than there is in Nioh. You play these games for gameplay and challenging progression through levels/bosses. If you're busy, and don't have time, you don't play games that are 1- Longer than 10h. 2- Difficult. This game is simply not for you. There is Fortnite, NFL, NBA, CoD. All perfect games that you will greatly enjoy because these games are so easy that the game might as well play by itself. Not to sound rude, but if you don't have time, you don't play a grindy mmo's like WoW, nor do you play the likes of Sekiro, games that require you to learn instead of facerolling and have no chance of losing.
110 hours to finish the game? I was tempted to try after playing and loving Jedi: Fallen Order as it was touted as having Souls type of gameplay if much less difficult. But 110 hours 😧😧 I’ve never spent more than 65 hours on a game and the only three to actually get that much time from me are Twilight Princess, Breath of the Wild, and funny enough, Jurassic World Evolution. To each their own of course 😀
So a long game with content is a negative for you? When you buy your games, do you spend $60 for enjoyment or just to finish a video game? If its for enjoyment, what does it matter if you beat it or not?
The have changed the combat a lot, many fights now revolve around the new burst counter mechanics which makes the gameplay pretty different from the first game.
It adds a new mechanic, not change the combat. Combat is just like it was in Nioh 1.
I have never seen a sequel, released years after the original, that looked this similar. This is the definition of an expansion that they decided to add new levels and sell as a sequel. They're recycling everything. From weapons, moves, animations, graphics, textures, sound effect, menus, etc, etc. Its the same damn game with now bosses, few new moves and very few new weapons. And people say that Dark Souls 3 was too similar to Bloodborne because the same engine was used lol. Have a look at Nioh, this is what "similar" mean.
Don't care about E3, it is a cringe fest every single year with no exceptions. What i'm worried about is next gen being indefinitely delayed because of coronavirus. That would be f*ckup.
