I don't understand why they didn't give the offline mode option. How can't it fit the "vision" of EA? It is just a lame excuse. Everyone knows why developers make online-only games.
Why do they make online-only game? The answer is simple ; to stop piracy. They want to prevent it but the methods they have found so far is a pain in the ass for the players who bought the game. They should change this approach and find a new method that doesn't harm the real buyers.
If both xbox 720 and ps4 would block used games, it would be bad for gamers. Because it would mean you won't have much user right of your own product -similar to renting a game- (probably some people would go to court as well) But if only xbox 720 blocks used games and ps4 doesn't, then it would be very very bad for xbox. They should be very careful about that, otherwise they should be prepared for lawyers.
It looks like it is a real prototype controller. I think it is good to know that they try to improve their controller. As long as the implementation is great, having a touch pad never hurts. Plus the light on the top of the controller proves that they want to implement the features of move controller as well. Let's wait and see. It's only 5 days left.
I think the deciding factor for ps3 is bluray capability because I know that heaps of people buy ps3 to watch bluray movies rather than play video games. I believe both consoles are great in their own way and the equal numbers prove that fact.
Although specs look uber-great, I cannot say the same thing for the controller, however it can be fixed someway I guess. Its size also look like a problem becuase playing games via streaming started becoming popular on tablets and even cell phones as well. (Onlive had a good start but experienced difficulties afterwards) Just attach a controller and you are to ready go. In short concept looks nice but it needs some refinement before its release. That's my thought.
