Bowser now at Level 80 in Bowser's Inside Story

Bowser is now at Level 80 in Bowser's Inside Story.

Since every level I advance makes Bowser more stronger, it seems to me that it is getting easier to level-up. In fact, when I reached Level 78, Bowser has a high Speed number that he can attack the Time Bom-ombs first before they do.

Tomorrow, I will level Bowser up to Level 90.

Bowser now at Level 70 in Bowser's Inside Story

I originally wanted to level-up Bowser to Level 65, but desiring to complete the goal of Level 99 quickly, I decided to go ahead and level him up five more levels to 70. 29 levels to go before the final level.

Ever since I equipped Bowser with the Intruder Fangs, he has rarely received damage from enemies, as the fangs allows him to attack twice per turn. This made defeating enemies easier and quicker, allowing me to level him up quickly as well.

The goal for today is either Level 75 or 80 if I am in the mood, even though fighting the same enemies in Peach's Castle does get repetitious.

Bowser at Level 50 in Bowser's Inside Story

Even though it takes longer for him to level-up because of the lack of enemies with many experience points and the fact he needs to move around more than the Mario Bros., Bowser is now at Level 50. Previously, he was at Level 43. I found out that I need to leave the Peach's Castle building so the enemies I defeated can re-spawn. Like Airway for the Mario Bros., I have to enter, leave, and re-enter Peach's Castle to fight the re-spawn enemies.

During my time leveling-up Bowser, I learned that I can equip Bowser with the Intruder Fangs to make it easier. While he loses 58 Power points by equipping the Intruder Fangs, the fact that he can attack twice per turn will make it easy for me to defeat enemies, especially the Dark Fawful Mechas. The fangs also save me time as I do not have to wait after the enemies attack me for my turn to counterattack.

It may take me a few days more to reach Level 99 for Bowswer.

Mario Bros. have reached Level 99 in Bowser's Inside Story

After several days levelling-up the Mario Bros., I finally reached Level 99 today. It was a good thing that I levelled them up in the Airway section of Bowser's body and the fact that each level since Level 40 is 47,000 EXP, as it would have taken me more days to reach my goal. Even at Level 99, many enemies in the Airway are still undefeated whenever I use a pre-emptive attack. I think they have stronger Defense.

Since my first goal is finally completed, the next goal is leveling up Bowser to Level 99. He will be more challenging, as the foes he confront in Peach's Castle do not generate that much experience points as do the Mario Bros. in Airway. I will start tomorrow.

Bowser's Inside Story review finally posted on GameSpot!

After waiting more than three weeks after the game was released, GameSpot has finally posted its review of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. While it earned 9.0, I personally felt that if GameSpot still use the scoring system it abandoned on June 2007, it would have scored higher. Also, Richardo Torres' review gives the impression that it is higher than 9.0, and I disagree with his claim that there is "no replay value" in it. After all, I am still playing the game two weeks after I finished it, and there are replay value, such as the Challenge Node and other minigames.

Before learning about the review, I leveled-up the Mario Bros. to Level 95, which means that I have four more levels to go before reaching the goal of Level 99. I will do so tomorrow.

Mario Bros. now at Level 94 in Bowser's Inside Story

During this morning after playing Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for a few hours, I was able to level-up the Mario Bros. to Level 94 from the previous Level 87. Five more levels to go before the final Level 99.

Now I know from levelling-up that differences in it takes about 47,000 EXPs to advance to the next level, and I believe it has been this way since Level 40 when the Mario Bros. earned their Rainbow Rank.

After I levelled-up the Mario Bros. to Level 94, I went to The Gauntlet and fought the previous bosses before confronting Bowser X. This time, I was able to clear Level 7 in 13 turns, as opposed to 15. However, I did not save the game after clearing Level 7 as I wanted to reach Level 99 before returning to The Gauntlet and see whether I can clear Level 7 within ten or eleven turns.

It will be a matter of days before I reach my goal of Level 99. After that, I will level-up Bowser to that goal as well.
