Just this morning I leveled-up the Mario Bros. to Level 87 in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Twelve more levels to go until I reach Level 99. After that, I focus my main attention in leveling-up Bowser.

Before that, I was able to defeat Bowser Memory MLX within one turn in The Gauntlet, but will not be able to defeat Dark Star X within two turns as Luigi has advanced in Speed to where he will attack first before Dark Star X after Mario attacks. I will settle with three turns.

I was able to clear Level 7 in 15 turns as opposed to the previous 22 turns due to the Mario Bros. becoming more stronger. However, I feel they are not powerful enough to defeat Bowser X to my own satisfaction. Even though I was able to defeat him three times, many times were failures.

The goal for today is leveling-up the Mario Bros. to Level 90.

After a few hours playing Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, I have leveled-up the Mario Bros. to Level 83. 16 levels to go before reaching Level 99.

It seems to me that there is some sort of consistency of the experience points needed to level-up and that I need about 45,000-50,000 EXP per level.

Even though I leveled-up the Mario Bros. to Level 70 last night, I decided today to level them to Level 76. It will take me several days to reach the goal of Level 99, as I do not want to become quickly jaded with the level grinding as I have to travel back and forth from Airway to do so. Enemies once defeated do not respawn until I leave Airway and return, so it gets repetitious doing the same thing over and over again hundreds of times.

While I orininally wanted to level-up Bowser to Level 99 after I finished with the Mario Bros., I decided to level him up from Level 40 to Level 42. It takes Bowser some time to level up as he faces enemies that do not generate less experience points compared to the Mario Bros. None of his foes generate no more than 1,800 EXP. Because of this, it will take me longer to level him up to Level 99.

Even though it would take a few weeks to reach Level 99, the Mario Bros. have recently reached Level 68. I will level them up to Level 70 this evening. By leveling the Mario Bros. up, I quickly noticed that the are inflicting more damage upon their foes, to eventually they will defeat them immediately once they make a pre-emptive attack.

It is more than two weeks and now the last workday of the week, and still no Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story review from GameSpot. Whether the reviewer was inhaled by Bowser preventing the review from being published is yet to be know.

Currently, I leveled up the Mario Bros. to Level 66 with the goal of reaching the maximum Level 99. I will do the same with Bowser after reaching that goal, which may take a few weeks, as I do not want to be jaded through level-grinding. I am fighting foes in Airway to level up, as they generate the most experience points when defeated.

It has been two weeks since the game was released in North America, but GameSpot has not published its review for Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Why it has not published its review for this well-received game, even though major review outlets such as IGN.com and Gametrailers.com have already published their reviews. While lesser-received games are reviewed on GameSpot, this well-received game has not.

After several days, we are still waiting for this game's review from GameSpot.

After many attempts to defeat the Level 7 Gauntlet boss Bowser X, I was finally able to defeat him only after leveling up the Mario Bros. to Level 60. He was an annoying boss as he will inhale my Special Attacks after I use them against him, forcing me to use less-powerful attacks and the fact the Mario Bros. will have to pass a fiery obstacle course whenever he becomes giant. Around the time I defeated Bowser X, I learned how to defeat the previous bosses with less turns and using less Special Points. Defeating the Level 1 boss Durmite X was easy and it took me one turn one turn to defeat her.

Even though I finally defeated him, I am somewhat disappointed that I was awarded 25,000 coins instead of a rare item as I no longer have use of coins. Anyway, I am satisfied that I finished one of three Challenge Node games even though they are not necessary to complete the game. I already completed the game days ago without them.

With leveling up the Mario Bros. to Level 60, it made defeating the last boss Dark Bowser easier. I already defeated him the fourth time this morning.

In my attempt to defeat the Level 7 boss in The Gauntlet challenge, I leveled up the Mario Bros. to Level 57, but even so, they were defeated twice. It turns out that the Level 7 boss (Bowser X) is more troublesome than I thought. Whenever I use a Special Attack, he will inhale it using his Vacuum ability preventing me from using it until he spits it out latter on. This prevents me from using powerful Special Attacks that inflict heavy damage on Bowser X, and forces me to use less powerful Special Attacks.

I may consider doing the bold step and level up the Mario Bros. to the maximum Level 99 if I continue to have problems defeating Bowser X. It will take several days, but I am within three levels from reaching Level 60.

Since I wanted to defeat the last Level boss character in The Gauntlet challenge (found in Challenge Node), I decided to spend a few hours leveling up the Mario Bros. from Level 45 to Level 51. It was recommended by the Emoglobin to challenge the Level 7 boss at Level 50, as well took its advice to level up in the Airway section of Bowser's body.

Since The Gauntlet challenges limits the items I use, I need to be more careful not to consume many special points (SP) if I am to face the last Level boss character, as I have to defeat previous boss characters one by one before confronting him.

If I continue to have problems with the last Level boss, I will need to level up the Mario Bros. even more, perhaps to Level 55 or even 60. I believe the maximum Level is 99, and I can imagine it would take me several days and repetitious battles to reach it. I did the same thing with most previous RPGs I played in the past.

Early this morning, I completed Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story for the third time.

Unlike the previous two times, this time, I leveled up the Mario Bros. to Level 45 and Bowser to Level 40. In my first completion, I leveled up the Mario Bros. to Level 36 and Bowser to Level 32. It took me nearly 41 hours to finish the game, due to many attempts to complete the sometimes challenging battles or minigames.

In my third completion, the Mario Bros. each reach the Rainbow Rank and Bowser the Final Boss Rank. Both ranks are reached by leveling up each character to Level 40.
