I agree with you about the two points you made.

I didn't buy any DLC till now. I can't see any DLC making me excited. What i always look for in a game is its core, so the game is good then it's good, but if it's bad then DLC isn't going to make it any better.

@WCK619 Maybe by that he means "Huge profits" like what COD makes. It seems that every company today aim for profits like COD or not , they just envy them. But some of what he said is true, companies now try to "follow established formula" and copy successful games rather than risking new ideas.
