WoW was nothing new or special, but Gears was just boring, even on co-op, which is a pretty hard thing to do. So I'd say GeoW.

I would say Valve.

I agree it will make a nice doorstop someday.kuraimen
I think it'll be a neat speedbump in video game history. It'll have a notable place next to the Virtual Boy, the Power Glove and Laserdiscs.

I don't know if anyone would know, but is the ending going to be like Fallout 3 where we can't continue to free roam once it's over?

I could see them doing a Broken Steel DLC kind of thing again, so you can continue.

Shadow Complex. It's fine until you beat the game for the first time, but leveling past maybe lvl 25 gets really really tedious. Which is why I'm never getting all the achievements in that game despite loving it.Cherokee_Jack
I really really liked doing one playthrough for that and I don't really intend to play it again. But, I don't really do more than one playthrough for any game, unless its been a number of years since I played. Pretty much, the only exceptions ever have been Grim Fandango, GTA:SA, and Mass Effect.

[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"][QUOTE="hellhund"][QUOTE="Lto_thaG"]Here's my contribution. Assassin's Creed.

That's a solid contribution. Assassin's Creed did start awesome, and you get excited by the potential, only to be let down when you realize the tasks prior to the assassinations are all the same thing over and over. Fortunately, AC2 fixed everything I could've asked for and more. I hold it as the example of how to properly make a sequel.

Still need to play the 2nd one.I heard great things about it.

If you found the first one interesting at all, you'll love the second one. The game world is larger, you can go in water, jump on people from above and kill them, lots of missions of a variety of types, you can disarm the enemies and use their weapons, you can upgrade your pouches/armor, and the story is wild. I would recommend watching the cutscene videos from the first game prior to playing, though, so you get caught up on the story.

I still need to play the first one. I bought the first one off of Steam for $10 quite a while ago. Everyone kept saying its great, but my backlog is equal parts impressive and depressing.

[QUOTE="gamefan67"]Gladius, but I didnt sell it, it was stolen from me. I usually dont trade in games.

Wow, I didn't think anyone else had ever played that. I really liked the combat and item setups. I'd love for another similar game, or a HD PSN/XBLA refresh.

The main game that comes to mind for me is Red Dead Redemption The single player was great but getting 100% completion was way too easy and after that there isnt anything to do. The multiplayer was fun at first but once you realize that there isnt much to do besides gang hideouts and a bad deathmatch mode, it gets really boring. I know alot of people will disagree with me but I think GTA 4 is a much better game than RDR. I still play GTA 4 (I have 100% completion, man killing those pidgeons was a **** and I got it the day it came out. I sold RDR a while ago. GTA 4>>>>>>RDR

I wouldn't say that RDR got boring fast. But it lost a lot a couple missions into Mexico. Marston's a badass, but everyone treats him like their b*t*h and he takes it over and over and over. He's a Deadeyed Doormat. I still loved it, beat it, and traded it in, though. I figured I would trade it in while the value is high and rebuy it when its cheap or comes to PC.
