@richipuppy: except he's making a broad statement about games he's never played (unless youre saying he plays them anyway, despite "knowing" he won't like them) to a crowd he knows will disagree with him, in order to set himself apart.

so either he's a hipster, or a troll.

but thanks for playing :)

@lim30041982: didnt say you didn't play. said the vast majority of people in the comments complaining obviously didn't. and the majority of professional reviews were also good.

so don't try to put words in my mouth.

@Mogan: except that for one thing, mixed doesnt mean mediocre. mixed means that it had responses which ran the gamut. Second, I find your assertion to be unlikely, given how mass effect was recieved and given how much more deeply flawed that game was. Don't get me wrong I adore the og mass effect trilogy, but from the gameplay to the story, to the characters, to the settings, to the bugginess and the lack of followthrough that game had capital P Problems.

and people act like the vast majority of Andromeda's problems are commonplace, and the reason why is a vocal minority of people who haven't played enough to know better being confirmed only by those who agree with them.

@blindbsnake: lol I like how I never said that the animations were the only problem. I was pointing out that the vast majority of people complaining about the game are only talking about the animations, like thats what makes an rpg, not the gameplay, or the story, etc.

You don't like the game after actually giving it a chance, that's fine, but FAR too often I see people who are like this game is awful, it's unplayable, the gameplay, the story, none of it makes sense "how much of it did you play?" oh 3-4 hours, but the reviews all said..

THAT is what I'm talking about. People pretending they know what theyre talking about after taking the tiniest nibble of a bite sized sample, especially for an RPG.

@Dark_Matters: those guys had issues, as in minor problems with those things, but none of them proclaimed the game was irrevocably bad because of any of them.

@Mogan: they cited problems in other areas but literally none of them said that the story, the characters, the setting, or the dialogue were anything worse than mediocre. And I agree with you that andromeda's biggest problem isn't the animation, but literally none of them are game-breaking as depicted in the comments section. No review written by someone who has actually played the game has said that anything in there would stop them from continuing to play, and yet the comments sections declare that every aspect of the game is unplayable.

@gns: which is fine, but the vast majority didn't and act like they did.
