That's exactly the kind of setup I was thinking, although with more of an emphasis on pushing the arcade machines lol. I thank you for your input. Anyone else have any comments?

Yes! Oh God yes!! Chrono Trigger has yet to be surpassed by any JRPG. The only one that came close was Final Fantasy VI.

I actually played a lot online on my consoles. Most of my online experience has been with PC gaming however. On the PC, games are generally very fun to play online, and even older games are still played online. For instance Doom 3 on PC (I know everyone seems to hate this game) is still played online, as opposed to the Xbox version where no one ever plays. I don't know if you tried online gaming on the PC, but if you have access to it give it a shot. Battlefield 2 is extremely fun, as well as Counter-Strike and Half Life 2 Deathmatch, just to name a few.

Not sure if this is the right place to discuss this or not, but I was thinking tonight of starting my own arcade. I know that arcades have been in decline, and are nearly non-existent now. So I'm wondering if it would be a success at all, or just a total failure. I know here in Ohio, there's not many arcades at all anymore. I'm not sure how it is in other states. I was thinking of not just having arcade games though, maybe a Internet cafe type setup as well. I was also thinking if I combined these aspects with a bar that it would make better business, but then I'm also alienating some consumer base as well. Any thoughts on the subject? Also is it legal to buy Japanese arcade games and use them here? I was wondering since Japan seems to be the only country that still seems to support arcade gaming somewhat.

Probably the closest thing you will find for xbox is the Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance games.

Probably Kratos, since GOW seems to be Sonys most popular first party series so far.

I don't plan on buying a PS3 for a while, especially since there's still life in the PS2. I usually don't mess with backwards compatibility much, especially since the games usually run better on the system in which they were intended for.
