I mean, c'mon sony....every one wants this update and its not impossible because the 360 has it. Theres no better gaming experience than playing you're favourite game and listening to yoour favourite tunes on your harddrive. What's the point of putting music capabilities on the PS3 if you have to quit the game you're playing just to listen?

This is the most useless feature to be honest. It makes you unable to hear what the game designer wants you to hear. Can you imagine that you watch a movie while hearing no soundtrack? Besides, if you REALLY REALLY want to hear a different sound track while playing movies, put a steroe next to your machine and just play the sucker. Then you would achieve exactly the same thing and still able to hear Metal Gear's excellent voice acting.

I didn't like the demo because there was no six-axis. If they don't have it in the final game, I won't buy it.Erik729

Six-axis is in the demo I think. You can see it on the screen where it shows you how to control the game.

[QUOTE="Denji"]In that case. Is watching TV a waste of time?emitsu97

Generally yes. Content viewed on TV typically is mind numbing.

Is reading a book a waste of time?Denji

Depends on the book.

Is riding your bike a waste of time?

Not when the health benifits are considered.

[QUOTE="Denji"] Was typing that message a waste of time?Denji

Absolutely, that's why I post here. It's how I get through the day faster.

Trophies make that "waste of time" less enjoyable and dumbs down the gaming community because kids want something shiny.Denji

I'm soon to be 29 and enjoy trophies and the added replayability they offer.

If you think reading a book isn't a waste of time if the book is meaningful, then how come you think playing video game is a waste of time. Since the greatest of video game (read, not Halo, not mario) actually is better than many many books in term of story telling, why then by your standards (or dual standards?) is playing video game a waste of time?\

Now trophie is a waste of time because: do you not consider youself wasting your time if you read a book only to see how many times, say, the author used the word "great". It sure will make you to read through the book many times to count them all, but it's also a big waste of time.

[QUOTE="2mrw"]

GS is biased as hell, shouldn't they review both versions at the same time!!!!! and i am sure the PS3 version will have less score not because the version is worse but GS wants the PS3 version look the worest

1337h4xx0rz

I sure hope they wont be biased, considering that EA has said on record that this game was being developed on the PS3 for the most part because they wanted both systems to have the exact same experience. They have pretty much guaranteed that both games will be identical in every way.

So, if GS decides to say that the 360 version is better in any way, then we all know for sure that these guys are all xbox 360 fanboys.

Even if this game's ps3 version looks better, GS can usually find something negative to say about the ps3 version. Remember the graphics comparison? During the comparison between two versions of Oblivion, GS said, although PS3 version's Oblivion has better textures on the street's pavement, we prefer the lower textured "other" version. Don't believe me? Look it up.

I couldn't get into Morrowind, that was due to crappy combat system, you had to swing your sword 10 times just to hit a mud crab once. I only got as far as getting to the south wall inn or something. I do love Oblivion though. I beat it like 5 times on my 360 and now I am playing through it on the PS3.2SmokinBarells

Oblivion is just so-so. I tried to play it more than 5 times, but never was able to play more than closing the first Oblivion gates. the dungeon in the gate was so stupidly designed, not interesting at all.

Oblivion is the best when walking around the outside environment. So it's such a shame that most combat happens in flat, ugly, dark caves and dungeons.

again i know all about how to change controller ports. I was just curious since PS3 doesnt have controller ports because again, during the fight with the mantis beast, they bought up the controller port thing from MGS1. Okay were clear on the controller port, but what about the memory card slot? Does it read the internal memory slots on ur PS3 HDDPSP107

Again, all that controller ports do are to change the controller's assigned number. So why are you wondering about it? Shouldn't it be, as long as you can change the controller's assigned number, you are all set? Why do you even care about the ports which does nothing but to change the controller's assigned number?

When you keep asking these obvious things, you don't look too smart man. Can't PS3 make memory card in its software? It sure can!

Yeah I replayed MGS4 and remeber after u beat the mantis beas t pycho mantis from MGS1 shows up and attempts to read ur data from ur memory card shake ur controller etc. He couldnt do it because PS3 doesnt have that. So it reminded me if i buy the MGS Collection and play it on my BC PS3, how will the Pysho Mantis play out?PSP107

Man, ps3 has no controller ports, why do you even need a controller port? Becauase, because, because.... you need it to switch the controller's assigned number, so that controller 1 can be controller 2, right?

Now, think about ps3, can't you do that without a controller port? Yep, you sure can! So think about this for a moment, then you will realize the solution of what you are asking is plain there.

I've read the previews for Little Big Planet and I can't understand what the big attraction is to it. The only game I'm looking forward to before Christmas is Fallout 3. I may get Bioshock towards the end of the year as I've heard the story is worth the price of admission. LPB just looks like a typical party game you'd find on the Wii with the exception of being able to create your own content. Is it safe to assume that the sort of people who are going to be buying LBP will be people who enjoyed games like Lemmings, BUZZ, Worms, The Sims, Spore etc..?

At the moment I'm playing Oblivion on the PC. The only game I own on the PS3 is GTA4, which I thought was a masterpiece. I'm surprised LBP gets so much hype - maybe its something you have to see running or play yourself to understand.

Torpian

if the only game you own is the stupid GTA4, no wonder you don't like little big planet. lol.. it shouldn't even come to as a surprise to youself.

Oct: Guitar Hero (or Rock Band 2), LBP

Nov. Resistance 2

Dec. Prince of Persia (if it's rated high enough)

Maybe:

Fallout 3 (please, don't make it like Oblivion)

Bioshock (rental)

Mirror's edge (rental)

Mortor Storm 2 (rental then buy when cheaper)
